I am so trying to "liberate!" A black darlek! Its over the burn, techincally on our land, hidden in next doors "rubbish" and they never come here, last we heard (after they cut through our outdoor power line getting mains water rather than the burn water I would kill for but Health and safety say we cant use.. so we are aiming to harness the power for electric...) so anyhow, they are now apparently letting it out, and the darlek is sitting there... behind a tree, not used, however, it seems it has been previously, despite its location, so moving it is proving hard, especially over a waterfall!

Slightly off topic I know, but the "dalek" will be used to store our leaf mould - currently in old plastic sacks - just thought, the leaves gathered up last autumn and the autumn before that were another frugal find!

I am back to scrounging from the office - in a good way. I have my own collection of takeaway coffee cups for use as plant pots (great for beans and sweetcorn as lovely and long for roots), and there are a few others saving theirs for me too now. And I have reinstated my green bin (the little bucket type that people use in their kitchens) in the main office - I do have to put the bio-degradable bags into it, but then I get quite a lot of teabags and coffee grounds, as well as a few fruit peels and cores as well for the compost bin on the plot.

Have you thought about taping his top on, then rolling it onto the side to cover it's bottom & trundle it over the burn?

Friday I went to an event that had a clothes swap and a book swap.. came home with 6 books in exchange for my 6 and in exchange for my 4 items( 2 vest tops, a skirt and a blouse) came home with a knitted and sequinned Debenhams large handbag, Next brown cotton jacket, Peopletree navy long sleeved top still with labels on and a Calvin Klein grey slip nightie.. also came back with my first 2 made by me Morsbags. I hope to join my local group when they reply to my email as the girl there told me to get in touch with her.

Not sure if this is the right place, but here goes.
I am in the middle of spring cleaning my airing cupboards and have a pile of single duvet covers with pillow cases, patterned, Hannah Montanna, Doctor who,( my youngest dd loves DW). We won't use them as my girls have double duvets on their beds now. They are all in excellent condition. My problem is do i take them to charity shop or freecycle, i have worked in charity shops so know that stuff can hang around for a while before being sold. What would you do??
    Thanks allxxx

Deborah if there is a Morsbags pod near you, they woudl be pleased to take them off your hands. Duvet covers and pillowcases etc are ideal for them.(or you could try making them yourself)
