Ginnyknit - how lovely of your friend to give you a laptop, I'm so glad your husband won't have to worry about the old PC being troublesome anymore.
I've just been to the charity shop and found two lovely decorative terracotta pots and a little pressed flower framed picture for 50p each - terracotta pots can be really expensive so I'm pleased with my little haul0 -

Last week I got a voucher worth £5 off a gardening club membership.
Membership is £12 for the year so it cost me £7 to join.
Special offer for new members on Sunday was a free tray of plants pansies or violas worth £4.99. These will look lovely in my empty pots.
Also the membership gives 2 tea/coffee vouchers per month that totals £36 over the year. Discounts on full priced plants, seeds etc and other benefits.
It`s a garden centre I visit frequently (mainly to browse or get ideas).0 -
The postman has just delivered a preserving pan, sent to me by a very kind MSE'r. I'm absolutely delighted & will make some marmalade later today.
