I love the car boot season! I've been looking for some old fashioned balance scales in british racing green and brass and I found some within 5 minutes of arriving at the opening car boot sale of the year! They aren't cast iron, but they are Salter, with a full set of imperial weights and in really good condition.
Also bought: BNIB, Whirlpool gas 4 burner hob that retails at £169 - for £35!!! , big stack of old motorsport mags - £4 and soft toys for the dogs (our one and our holiday guest) for 50p each
Worth going out early for!Piglet
