A Kenwood Food Processor!!!!! I am over the moon.
Every time my friend and I were out shopping, I whinged on and on and on and on and on . . . . about wanting a food processor, but not being able to afford one.
She was on a decluttering mission the other day and found a food processor in her cupboard that she had completely forgotten about. She reckoned she'd used it a maximum of three times, and therefore I would make far more use of it than she even would, so she gave it to me.:D
I love my friend - and she's relieved that she won't have to listen to me going on and on and on and on . . . . .:D:D

I was given some stair rods from a young guy I work with, after mentioning I was decorating my hall and was going to put a runner up the stairs. Apparently they didn't fit his stairs. He didn't want anything for them but I bought him some beer  as a thank you. I am over the moon as they are fab.0

Not so much a find but a saving on a computer engineer .... I have had to reload windows onto my old computer (it crashed completely) and it wouldn't reconnect to the internet because it had lost a driver. So I went to the dell website and downloaded the driver onto my laptop, put it onto my pendrive and transferred it over. Result! I did the same with the sound driver and now for the first time ever the computer has sound. Not bad considering I didn't really know what I was doing and was dreading having to spend money getting someone in to fix it!
I did find a penny in the street though. And a friend of mine has offered to do a carboot sale with me. :j Which is extra useful as I don't have a car lol!Aspire not to have more but to be more.

Quick question for those of you who have mentioned collecting wood from various places for your fires.
We have a garden full of branches of buddleia cut down last summer and getting rid of it is difficult as we don't drive. I hadn't put it on freecycle as I didn't think anyone would be interested, but now I'm wondering if I should have done.
Do you think anyone would want it, or is it the wrong type of wood (and is it too late - though the weathers still pretty chilly)?
Thanks in advance for any answers.A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -
I got free air at the garage...was expecting to pay my 20p as usual but the previous user must have put quite a bit of cash in, so i didn't have to pay.Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200

lol kath good timing!
kitschkitty if you dont have a way to use the wood, as in a woodburner or open fire then im pretty sure freecycle would clear the wood for you! It needs seasoning, but we store it to season and it will be ready for winter pretty much, its free heat!

Strange find yesterday - my husband brought home from work a babies push-chair in very good condition (It had been stuck at the back of a cupboard for a couple of years and they wanted it gone asap) That will come in very useful for grandchildren (which we don't have yet, but I'm holding out hope we will:rotfl:)0
