I've been going through some boxes of clothes in an attempt at a tidy-up and have sorted a few nice things which no longer fit to go to the charity-shop. Amongst those I have found a now-forgotten pair of vintage Terry de Havilland snakeskin and suede high-heeled shoes, barely worn. I'm going to get those up on ebay and see if I can get a tenner for them. They sell for about £400 new. I know my find doesn't really count but I'm rather pleased. I could really do with a tenner right now

They're size 5 1/2, open-toed. with ankle-straps. Very vampy. I'm surprised I had the nerve to wear them. Oh, the igorance of youth! I daresay they would be categorised as f-me shoes, these days.

Whistling gypsy - you lucky thing! Nothing better than those sort of gifts :) I would say do a batch of twinks in return, and half for you half for him, quick easy and a yum treat :) They make about 40 so you both gain (llbs probably! :D)
Frugal find, not free but frugal - 4 cookbooks for £5 from a "proper local" charity shop yesterday one of which is the good housekeeping ultimate menu thingy one, I have tons to read! (how sad do I sound!)
