Just when I thought I needed to buy some new moisturiser I got a good sized sample to test. It smells gorgeous and isn't runny like a lot of the cheapo ones, so will eke it out as long as possible - should last me at least a month :D

I've got some of that too. 2 days before I got a LARGE sample of hair spray to try. Have I used up my luck now?

  • Hia, love this thread. Suppose it's also about giving when you can as much as receiving. We gave some cat food to a local cat charity - which is now unloved by our cats. So that felt good. Am hoping for some stuff to come my way, but wow a car, food mixers, tvs, umbrella and outfits. Great stuff.

That's a good idea - Please post all your 'givings' as well as 'receivings' so we can enjoy those too :A:A:A
  • My sister brought me a bundle of live willow canes when she came to visit....so I've made a short "fedge" (yep, thats what its called!) to hide my compost bin!

This week, I have given away a load of packing boxes for moving, a load of pink and white paint and a painting kit and a kiddies mixer all through freegle. Hope someone gets some use out of it.

  • Frugal find today was that all the rain recently had filled my toilet flushing water collecting bin.
