I was gifted a 10 month old Macbook by a very dear friend. It doesn't work off the battery but it's no problem keeping it plugged in. This week I've been given some lovely good quality bunk beds for my DS's room.Toxic & Tired - Starting 2010 afresh :beer:0

Thanks for all your frugal find postings:)
Please remember that this thread is not really for cheap grocery finds - unless they have been gifted or free-cycled or found in a skip:rotfl:
Let's try and stick to the subject of non-grocery please:p0 -
Five cans of deodorant from freecycle - still haven't figured out why anyone wouldn't just use these themselves!
A pair of tickets for football tomorrow (Watford v Newcastle)0 -
Can't remember last time I posted on here, but I don't think I posted these, 2 suits for work & 2 blouses, bag of wool to knit up for preemie babies. 3 bags of books that I need to collect today.

Ohhh hubby's already bargainous £2 cast iron casserole (that incidentally has cleaned up nicely...) from the auction also came with a small flourescent light tube and fitting to go under a cupboard and a new and unused light fitting, one of the long curved bars with four small halogen spotlights on it, it'll got beautifully in the room we use as an office!Piglet

My Aptamil polar bear. I hope to BF, but who can resist a fluffy polar bear! I also got 8 outfits of ebay for 99p last night, which I thought was pretty good, even with the postage.

Hia, love this thread. Suppose it's also about giving when you can as much as receiving. We gave some cat food to a local cat charity - which is now unloved by our cats. So that felt good. Am hoping for some stuff to come my way, but wow a car, food mixers, tvs, umbrella and outfits. Great stuff.
Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Really, i think i should put some opf this in the competitions thread but - having recently moved, I cancelled the gym where i was and decided to join our council gym - half the price of my private gym as it is. This was in January and for council emploees they were offering 25% off the joining fee (this came down to £17) and i month free. As i also have a regional corporate dioscouint card I got another free month. so, 2 and a half months gym membership for £17. I then only pay £22 amonth from April. I entered a prize draw competition on the night i joined. Guess who won the ipod then?
Two weeks ago on the way to the superemarket, competition on the radio - guess the film to win cinema tickets. Knew the film so when I parked up, I phoned and entered. Missed hearing the winner so thought nothing of it. 2 days later, got a message to say come and pick up #your tickets! Thought I was only getting 2, but when I got them, there was 4!!! Myself and OH used 2 last week to see Invictus - all in all only spent £4.10 on the sweeties - (on offer from tesco....) Fab night night and we even treated ourselves to a drink before hand!
Going to a wedding fair tomorrow. On the look out for freebies and competitions!!!!
Snowy:j I feel I am diagonally parked in a parallel universe :j0
