A lovely pine bookcase, which is now holding towels and pretty wicker baskets of 'stuff' in our bathroom.
A 32" widescreen TV. The TV had a dodgy on-off switch which DH sorted, otherwise it's great.
They were sitting outside a relative's house, waiting for the council to take them away, when we went to visit. Yes, I have some brass neck, but I also have a two very nice items!0 -

I love OS finds. I won 2 pairs of Etam jeans on Ebay for 99p and when they arrived one still had tags on and one pair in new condition had a £5 note in the pocket
.
Also just before xmas I wanted to buy my son a camcorder bag but they were pricy untill I spotted a leather one in mint condition on Ebay starting at 99p with £2.49 postage. I won it for 99p and it cost the seller £2.74 to post and yes it was in mint condition, so very happy (my 9yr old son too
). Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time
and Love sewing

I reckon it counts as it's a 'thankyou' . If only we had a hairdresser in the family...sigh

My find today was a very nice BNWT cream hand towel. It has a pretty embroidered fabric panel and will look 'Oh so posh' in my downstairs cloakroom. (actually the tiny loo off the kitchen :rotfl:) £2 in the CS.0

Earlier I posted that I had found a brand new, beautiful, floaty material suit to wear at DDs wedding at the CS. Well, my hubby had 'won' some M&S vouchers at work - long story. He gave them to me as a gift.
I went in to M&S today and immediately found a gorgeous, bright fuschia outrageous hat, and a fuschia jacket that go perfectly with the suit. The total cost was £69 and the vouchers were for...£70!
I'm so thrilled to have found my perfect outfit and have only lashed out £8. :eek:0
