  • The frugal find my way today is- the sunshine- because now my washing can go outside and no more heating the room to dry it! (don't suppose it counts though)
May you fill up the great clutterbucket of life and may all of your leaks be in cheese sauce:D
Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without:cool:

Me too. Yes it does count! Mt washing is blowing on the line as we speak. Even if it doesn't completely dry it won't take as long indoors!

Time I posted a "giving" - dunno if this counts but the other night we asked a friend round to watch the football on our new freebie freeview box. He doesnt have a tv and has been living on cup a soup, ys sandwiches and biscuits for ages as the landlord of his new place has not delivered him a cooker. He got to see our team win in Europe, a few cans of value bitter and a jacket potato and beans (which he is still raving about)

In return he bought us all a 4 pack of value lager and beer.(am dreading taknig the recycling out to the bins as it is mostly cans of booze. lol)

His landlord needs a kick up the .... in the meantime could you suggest he asks for a microwave or tabletop cooker from Freecycle.

Today I had a plastic bag left in my post box. I will re use it as a bin liner. Also some summer -time bright pot-pourri ,i put it away in autumn and put out some winter pot-purri saved from last year.. So now the summer stuff is doing the rounds again. Its bright and cheerful andstill smells lovely.

.... it's just like the one I used to have when I was a child!

Apart from being a bit grubby (have now scrubbed her clean), Tiny Tears is in perfect working condition and even has all her hair plugs, eye-lashes, and original top knot, plus fingers and toes that haven't been nibbled by little teeth!

It obviously isn't the one that I had then!!

made me laugh, not so long ago an elderly neighbour was looking at his elderly cat, he said "£3,000 in cat food and hes only ever caught one mouse". Expensive rodent control LOL:rotfl:

    Part of the Furniture
£2 winning scrach card DS17 said I could have as he could not be bothered to cash it in!!! The co-op is next door to the newsagents timed it just right for the bargains. Got-
    Sausages 45p reduced from £2.00
New potatoes 35p reduced from £1.50
Edam cheese 65p reduced from £1.79
Loaf of bread 40p reduced from £1.29

    Only spent £1.85 in co-op.
So at least two dinners (with the frozen tomatoes from the garden last year) and 15p profit.
