What a good thread... The X Catalogue Shop (sells off JD Williams stuff) has a sale on, and I got a £36 top for £6.99, 2 £16 blouses for £3.49,
a £30 pair of trousers for £2.49, and 2 tops for £1.49 each, one with a lovely embroidered neckline.
I donated a big bag of clothes to the Heart Foundation to make room for them!:o
I also saved £12 last week via vouchers on my new DAB micro music centre. The old music centre in perfect working order was rehomed as a freebie today, saved from landfill!
Sent some clothes for my great niece and great nephew down to Wales with my son - all in Mr T's sale.

  • DH and I spent 2 days on the moors this week picking bilberries. Never known them grow in such abundance as this year - the heatwave around Easter time must have got them off to a good start. Between us we picked 13lbs 5oz - now safely stowed away in the freezer for making jam and pies, when time permits! Another "picking day" is planned for this week. Can't turn your nose up at free food can you!!
