Glad this thread is being used again.
I got a nice top for 1.99 in cs today which is a change cos most of the cs here are quite expensive.

Nice to see this thread again. Yep, another one with home grown veg for tea. A lovely "new" top from the charity shop for £1.95. Two vases of flowers picked from the garden and our shared "wild" hedge. (Shared with our neighbour)

A friend who is moving abroad gave me an unused tandoori pot for the oven complete with packet of spice mix.

I was really pleased as I have always wanted one and could never justify the expense.:j

    :)

Over the last 2 weeks I've bought 14 tops in the charity shops for hubby and me from 99p for a nice plain v neck top for me, |||£3 for a Next Jumper, £3.49 for an Animal brand t-shirt and £4.50 for an M&S cardigan (very nice)!

Think the total spend was about £37 such a bargain for a new spring wardrobe especially as if I'd had to buy new just 1 t-shirt for hubby would have cost £12!
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.
