On Wednesday, my MIL gave me a stack of magazines from her and my SIL's subscriptions, one was even a January edition, so a new one!
She was also clearing out her alcohol cupboard, so we came away with Southern Comfort and Bacardi, plus a malt whisky for my stepdad. We gave that to him last night and he said he was just saying yesterday that he hasn't bought any for a while.

Yesterday I mentioned to my friend at work that I'd been making HM bread, and she said she'd bought a 1.5kg bag of bread flour and some dried yeast for her daughter to make some bread at school, she'd only made one loaf and wasn't going to use the rest so she said I could have it, and today she gave me almost a full bag of flour and 7 sachets of dried yeast, and wouldn't let me give her anything for it.Weight loss challenge 2/10lbs

my finds for this week,
a Rudyard Kipling anthology for 75p.....perfect for part of my nephew's crimbo pressie.
I was also looking for some decent boots for hubby, found a brand new pair of leather hi-tech ones in CS for £10 (they are usually £80-£100!!) - bargain!!
Found a massive old curtain in the cupboard, so thats being used to cover up the car so I dont have to buy a cover.
5.1 speaker system from a lovely freecycler, gone to my stepsons as hubby built them a computer for crimbo, so will enable them to have sound!0 -
