Also my mum bought the dog a hide bone thing that he loves, so he is pleased as punch in his bed, as are the children who are watching him - lolHave 3 DS: 18, 5 & 3. Would love a 4th.

Today I got flowers and thank you card of nieces for giving them theatre tickets I won.
Also left work recently and was given a giftcard which I spent on a hat and 2 half price diaries in M'S. Then £5 off some socks I bought in debenhams with the Text voucher code! Lovely.Make £2 a day challenge - doing well so far.0 -
I popped in Sainsburys last night and noticed a small shelf of Halloween bits reduced by 75%.
I wasn't interested in masks and confetti etc. But noticed one metal & silicone whisk and a silicone spoon/spatula. They didn't have a price label on the shelf, so checked at the till and they were just 75p each. They are bright orange - similar "designer" bright coloured ones cost £6 upwards!
I love silicone cookware.A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -
Got a voucher for a free John Frieda hairdye then when I took it to the till I also got a £5 skincare voucher. Don't need it though since I'm only 18 and this was for anti wrinkle stuff...Savings £8,865.22 £/15,000 Aiming to save enough for a house deposit.0

Been lurking on this thread for a while but not yet posted. I am so excited about my frugal finds. I have been to charity shop to drop off some books and clothes. I came back with a Timberland coat and a Benetton Coat for my one year old boy costing me £9 for both coats. I also took some light bulbs out of chandelier that was in a skip (chandelier not my taste) and no I didn't ask for permission!0

not today but yesterday i took some too big winter woolies to the charity shop
was with a friend and we decided to look around the local ones whilst there, got a next long sleeve top and debenhams trousers for 50p each 3 pairs of jeans for ds2 for 25p each a top for ds1 50p (new and tagged)
then got ds1 2 huge dinosaurs for 50p each 2 books for ds3 (thomas hardback) 50p each and a leappad and 7 books/catridges for ds2 for £8 which i am putting away for xmas.
not very long ago i found a zia pushchair dumped by local recycling bins (next to a pushchair box from mothercare) was nothing wrong with it just looked like it had been dumped for a new pushchair, a friend is now using it along with ds3s winter wootmuff he has grown out of, what i see dumped around me is unreal at times this particular place is used as an unofficial dumping groundDebt free

Dropped off about 10 bin bags full of clothes, books, dvds, shoes, boots etc the other day, at the house of a lady who takes donations for the charity shop she works at. Today donated two (one form me and one from mum) homemade Christmas hampers of food to be raffled off at the parish Christmas Fair next weekend.Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200
