Found a lovely camel Ben Sherman coat for my DS in cs and a promise of £31 from npower going back to 2007. And I nearly binned it thinking it was an offer to change utility companies!

Have been picking up apples from our local green area and now have about a dozen small containers of stewed apple for apple sauce.
Today we found a nearly new golf ball which, as i dont know anyone who plays golf will go to a charity I support for their next jumble sale along with the kiddies jacket and a mobile phone cover which we also found. :j

Got a single bed base off a freecycler for my mums spare room (just need to get a mattress now). Yesterday I took a load of stuff to the charity shop and ended up coming home with a gorgeous pale green cast iron cookbook stand. It cost £3.75 but similar ones are between £30 and £40 on all the websites I looked on. It's so nice that even DH remarked on what a good find it was.

Tonight went to a friends house where she was holding a clothes swapping session and as Ive had a change in lifestyle ( am having to watch the pennies now) I took along a suitcase of clothes that were too big for me.

Came home with 2 sets of jamas never worn, fleecy and warm ones too, pair of trainers as Im a size 6 and they fit lovley and are almost like a walking boot so they will be well used and a lovley cherry red N*xt hat scarf and gloves that someone had asa gift and didnt like the colour,, my clothes were from my previous life of more money than sense and went to good homes, and the best swappie was I went in my brown leather jacket and came home with a lovley long black leather parka type jacket...I only joked with the woman that was wearing it and said fancy swapping coats lol Ive always wanted one of those, nearly fell over when she said yes..so I grabbed it and it fitted so a good night.

Wish I was stick thin these poshies were virtually giving away or swapping there clothes, but hen sparkley tops and thin clingey dresses are no good to me down the allotment..and weeding and babysitting...

Hope to go to one of these again nearer the summer as I have still some summer stuff I could swap..
