Bought some small plastic basket style things for getting a bit of order into the cupboards. They came in packs of 3 for 99p each. At the checkout as I was putting them in the bag, realised it was 2 packets stuck together (ie. 6 baskets) but check-out lady said I could have them free, as it was their mistake they were stuck together!0

In a local charity shop yesterday - a big bag full of Jacob Aran wool, 19 balls at 50g. For £4.50! That's enough for a long, warm winter woolie for me, using one of the vintage patterns picked up in various charity shops! (Or maybe for him - it would make a good Christmas present!)0

My lovely neighbour says she has a freezer full of apples so I can help myself to the ones which overlook our garden. As I have a small amount of blackberries hoping to freeze everything and make apple and blackberry crumble in the winter.
Also got a free sample of pesto sauce so that's a lunch covered for next week.MFW 91 op 2014 £410/1000

Thanks so much for this- I am forever telling OH about how much energy he wastes leaving the TV on standby, and our upstairs one won't actually switch off unless you unplug it (stupid design IMO) so have ordered a couple of these. Also picked up a couple of other sale items but have to be careful, Lakeland is addictive!2011: [STRIKE]Houses[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]weddings[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]cats[/STRIKE]

When I cleaned the car inside and out last Friday the front drivers footwell rubber mat had started to get holes in it from me driving in heels
To replace the set of mats from Ford costs over £60.00. Today in Poundland found a Prodriver rubber mat and I have put that underneath my existing mat and that has given it extra protection also for my fitted carpet in the car as well from extra wear and tear and wet from shoes.
Well pleased with that and it's done just the job. The other mats are immaculate and I cannot justify spending £60.00 odd for the sake of one mat.Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money:beer:
