Maybe the car in front that got targeted was doing the same?

I've thought all along the other car they went for was probably sat in the middle lane as well. I think they were trying to "box" the cars into the correct lanes.

    What a good idea :T

  • Hand on your car horn and keep it there. Loads of noise, attracting lots of attention from other drivers. Someone who isn't being harassed may take it upon themselves to ring the Police and report the number plates.

On a motorway? Most cars are travelling too fast to hear a car horn.

Yes, if you want to risk death or serious injury to a load of people in order to prove a point.

Doubt anyone will care if the driver was just sat in the middle lane!

okay okay point taken- people spend their saturday nights going out in one audi and two transit vans to stop people driving in the middle lane... lets just hope it was a huge 'middle lane hogging' ambush and it never happens to any of you lot :D oh and the car infront was in the outside lane.

No it won't happen.....I don't stay in the middle lane for no reason! That other car shouldn't have been in the outside lane unless overtaking which on a Saturday night (pretty much one of the quietest nights on the motorway) was unlikely. I bet the other car was just sitting in the outside lane.
