Should i now continue with the court phase or wil they keep saying these are not charges but services. hope someone can help me

You need to send the second letter, the letter before action which tells the bank you are giving them 14 days before you take them to court.0 -
Hi all.....hope you are all well and very successfull !!!!! I just sent my first letter of request for bank statements last friday (( rec. del.)) and they recieved it on the Sat. Not heard anything yet, but anticipated that,
the thing I am concerned about, and hope someone is able to help .... will the suggestion by the FOS in April have any impact on re-claimed money for those of us whom have just started the journey ?? Obviously still awaiting bank charges info from bank with 30 days still to go, the timeline will coincide. Can anyone help shed any light on the matter
please, thx !!
Would also like to take this oppertunity to extend my appreciation and gratitude to Edinburghlass who volunteers her own time to help us all out...... I say a big round of drinks and cheer are called for people  :T :T  ......Many, many thx hen xxxx0 -
You've hit the nail on the head by using the word "suggestion" as that is what it will be and so no, it won't make any difference to your claim. The bank may come back and say due to OFT (Office of Fair Trading) suggesting that charges should be reduced to a certain amount that they will offer you a refund of the difference but if that happens you then refuse the offer and continue to court.0

If this is all the charges you have you can try phoning the bank and see if they will refund them. If you think you have had more charges over the past 6 years then read Martin's article and start with the first step.

I have loads of £10 charges from a few years back when my account was a student account. I also have more resent charges ranging from 12.50 to £50. Is it worth including the £10 charges in the claim?
Any help appreciated
Thanks

I Recieved My Resonse From The Bank They Offered Me £450 And I Am Claiming £860.50 I Refused And Said I Would Take This As Part Payment But Wanted The Rest Other Wise I Was Going Ahead With Court Procedings And I Woul Be Claiming The Interest. They Wrote Bak And Said They Were Unwilling To Give Me The Full Amount And Would Not Give Me £450 As Part Payment So I Am Going Ahead With Court Procedings. How Long Roughly Does It Take To Get A Court Date?0
