Jamesdusk wrote:Can anyone help me on this as on the bottom of the letter form the court outlining my claim it says in bold "YOU MUST INFORM THE COURT IMMEDIATELY IF YOU RECIEVE ANY PAYMENT BEFORE A HEARING DATE OR AFTER YOU HAVE SENT A REQUEST FOR ENFORCEMENT TO THE COURT". If I just ignore the letter from Loyds will they just put the money in my account and I'll have to inform the court?
The money will be put into your account by Lloyds, you must inform the court.0 -

Not bad huh? Although there's no reference to any charges being made for this service, despite what I put in my message authorising them to deduct a fee upto the value of £10...
Keep an eye on your account as they may well charge for copy statements.0 -
Alliance & Leicester, Claimed £2113.21, received cheque for £2125.42. Got as far as issuing County Court claim which A&L said they would be defending. A week later received settlement. Many thanks to Martin:beer:0

Sent my first letter and the dead line for HSBC to reply was yesterday. Amazingly they did send a letter saying they were looking into it.
I am just about to send the second letter from the template (Letter 5), but I have a question.
I have a loan with HSBC and back in 2004 I missed 2 payments and really did not realise until they started chasing me to pay it about 2 months ago. Yes nearly 3 years ago and they want me to pay the mssing two payments now (and no they will not tag it onto the end of the loan - already asked that). Since them 2 missed payments I have never missed one, and only have 10 months to go (+the 2 missed ones) before I pay it off. Now my question is will this have a effect on me sending this second letter. Could I send them another letter later telling to take the missed payments out of what they owe me - which is just over £4k inc interest. Could they say they will pay off my loan with what they owe me? Oh so many questions and I am very confused?:rolleyes:0 -

Has anyone received a letter yet from Nationwide telling them that they are not going to process any claims until the OFT ruling is announced? Apparently they were going to start sending these leters out on Monday. I sent out my second letter to them a week ago, asking for the default charges to paid in full, with interest, but so far have heard nothing at all. They call me Mr Pig!0

Just had to write as I am so pleased to have fought against the establishment and won!!
Bank: Alliance and Leceister
Amount Claimed: £1186.00
Amount Received: £1186.00
Went to the on line claim stage. A & L received court papers on the 14th February, I received a cheque for full amount on the 22nd February. Took just over two months and well worth the wait. Just waiting for credit card statements now. Good luck to everyone attempting to reclaim their money from these banks whose pre-profits for 2006 were over 32 billion, I think they have all made enough money from us and about time we got some of it back.0 -

I'm really panicking about Lloydstsb stalling now until the OFT make their recommendation in April. Have just requested statements and the 40 days will take me to april practically. Lloyds seem to be slower than other banks too. Should have done this earlier but had to find a parachute account first.
Am I worrying unneccesarily?0
