Hey yeah I have sent that already - I think I meant my second letter then!
I have to accounts at different branches and don't want to approach each one seperately, but am not sure if my local branch (where one is kept) can deal with the other account??:money:

Your claim wont be dealt with in either of your branches. They will forward your letters onto the relevent department, so put both accounts together in the one letter, and send it to either branch. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

If you have sent the letter to Halifax for your list of charges they have 40 days in which to respond.
Read this website regarding claiming in Scotland.

Hi, Both Natwest and Cahoot (Abbey) have filed a defence as expected.
Both have requested more info. To clarify, I am about to complete the Allocation form, but do I need to respond to their request for more info or is the Allocation enough on its own.
Just want to be sure that I don't have a legal requirement to show them my evidence as I have already sent this in my first letter to the bank.
Also I thought that since it is now in the hands of the court, it would be up to them to advise me what I need to do and NOT the defendant.
Thanks in advance

Thanks for your advice mate!0 -
Hi,
Got my new account open, sent my 1st letter off and I'm just preparing myself for the next stages. Making the claim (2nd letter) looks staightforward, but on the 3rd letter I have to put in "which court would rule in my favour", as I am not ready to use the moneyclaim process yet, do I just put in my local county court?

Bank: NatWaste
Amount Reclaimed: over £1150
Amount they paid: £1002.33
The story:
It started when NatWaste saw fit to charge me £30 a month whenever they liked basically, no thanks to a bogus subscription to AOL. I also have an overdraft in another account which was being charged interest on penalty fees. They threatened "legal action" as I couldn't pay anything, but I was saved by mom.
Began my claim in July last year, with two rejection letters. Following the guide at Consumer Action Group I took it to MoneyClaim, which cost £120 (a huge dent in finances at the time). It took three months to get any money from NatWaste, during which I was offered £600.
Still waiting to get the court fees and more charges accumulated since then, having sent a letter in December. If they don't respond soon I'm talking some more to the court.0
