    After all the messing about with claim 2 on one of my contracts (about which I posted above), today I received claim 1 on a second contract. To ensure this I followed junkie's advice as well as hitting the brief window between the two conflicting sets of terms, sending by special delivery and enclosing a covering letter listing their terms, the way I had met them, and pointing out that I had already sent a LBA or another contract (just to show willing!). THe cashback staff probably just had a good laugh at my anal expense, but they sent the cheque. When these contracts expire, no more cashbacks from e2save for me - and no more recommendations to other people either.
  • Let me order it for you and you won't have these problems! I've never stopped grabbing their deals or lost a claim in all my time with them - despite having to threaten on something silly on one contract.

    Just a query, has anyone had the "automatic" first cashback paid directly as stated as per the "new T&C's", as in;

    A credit of £136.00 will be raised automatically by cheque within 2 months if you do not cancel your contract. To gain the remainder of your cashback, you will need to claim for each instalment.

  • Many, many times - these t&c aren't in fact new. However, that was then; this is now.

  • Naturally. Though I did read of people who had to chase theirs for months. That was also pre-IIC days, although it's possible the IIC has been booted out by now (only a supposition - logically, just how long can someone inflict massive long-term damage on a company for short-term gain without suffering the consequences? Then again, this IS cpw and the IIC was put in place by others who are equally wise).

  • Please could someone help. (I have spent 3 hours reading through the thread on Price Match offers and am at my wits end with E2 Save!)

    My contract began on 6th August 2007 and I sent in the December 12th bill , on 4th January 2008 by special delivery. It arrived on Monday 7th January as no-one was present to sign for it on Saturday 5th January.

    I have wrote an LBA and E2Save have stated that my cashback claim period began on 3rd December 2007 and expired 30 days later. Am I within my rights to sue within original legal t+c's? (I still have their original e-mail with these on which was sent to me when I purchased phone)

    Your help is much appreciated!
    Paul
