It is a mistake to think the address you send in the forms to is a simple matter.

If you use the wrong address you have broken the conditions and they will be able to get out of paying you all remaining cashback.

Send your husband's forms to whatever address he was originally told to. No-one on this forum can possibly know the answer to your question.

I've just signed up and I've had an email telling me to send it to one address in crewe, on the claim forms I down loaded from the website it said another address (also in crewe) and on the claim form received with the phone a third address this time in loughborough.

On top of that I've logged into their website mycashbackclaim.co.uk and it gives me completely different dates to send the claims in by.

I'm begining to wish I'd never signed up, still it's been a while since I've been to the small claims court:rotfl: so I suspect I'll end up having to sue for the cash.
  • Nothing new there then - except I've not come across the Loughborough address before. Fun, isn't it??

As for the dates; ignore the account information and send in the correct claim at the correct time. That is fine as long as YOU know exactly WHAT t&c you signed up to AND can prove it.

The loughborough address was in their welcome book too. Why should I ignore the account information - its exactly 1 month prior to the dates I was expecting.
I was planning to send my claim then as I have proof of what the website says and then I'd have time if they F about to send the next bill too.

From the info when I signed up
“You will need to claim 6 months from connection and you have 30 days from this date to submit your claim”

“i.e. if you purchased on the 1st of January 2007, you need to send in the bill that is dated around the 1st July 2007, and you will have until the 30th July 2007 to do so. This is 180 days (6 months) after connection.”

Then it says “You will be required to send your bills within defined date ranges based on the date your handset was connected and despatched. When you place a successful order these dates will be detailed in ‘your account’ linked on our website”

And the dates detailed in my account on the website are:-
    “Send month 6 claim between 25th Jul 2008 and 31st Aug 2008”
  • So be it. Good luck; you'll definitely need it. I won't answer the question, since I have been explaining the answer for months on LOTS of threads (plus a lot more besides) which you plainly haven't read!
  • On page 47 of this thread there is a lot on the point you raised, among other things. A lot of research could save people a lot of grief. Unless they fell lucky...! Lol!

Anyone trying to get through? This is my 2nd time (first had no problems & i had to ring once ) but they are holding my last 2 cashbacks & i am trying to ring but it rings straight off & i have been trying for 2 days now.
  • Why bother? Send a LBA and sue if they ignore, assuming you followed the t&c. Amazed when people let ANY dealer mess them around - I woudn't! Would THEY let YOU mess them around?? First hint of non-compliance and out you'd go!
  • e2save up to some interesting new things....

Had final installment of an old-style (pre-Price Match) cashback paid out in early January with no problems.
Sent another one in late January. These are being sent to the old Dunstable PO Box (because this is what it says in the T&C's and everything has worked fine up to now). Anyway, e2save say that they have not received the second claim (sent about a month ago). I sent it Special Delivery and so contacted Royal Mail. It seems that the claim reached their PO Box, but it is sat in there with a load of other letters. No one from e2save is collecting them! I have a document from Royal Mail showing the tracking numbers of all the S/D packages sitting in the PO Box. Amazing. I can feel a MCOL coming on, if e2save continue to insist that they have not received the cashback claim.

    Hi everyone,

My final claim has been rejected by E2Save as being sent in too late, like many others on this thread. I know my claim was submitted on time and I have the necessary RM proof. They are just trying it on. I have followed their T&Cs to the letter. Can any one point me to a sample LBA letter please. I have done a search but unable to find one. Thanks in advance.

I dispute that my claim was late.

The claim was sent to you by recorded/special delivery. You received the claim on ................... which was within the time allowed to get the claim to you.

Unless you pay me the claim in full (£xxx) within 7 days from the date of this letter I will use whatever means necessary to recover the money owed to me.

    Yours faithfully
