e2save problem (merged threads)

This is not my contract but my sisters.
She has to send in month 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12.
She took the contract out on the 5th June.
Our calculations show that she should send in the recent bill on or after (within time limit) -
5th October
5th December
5th Feb
5th April
5th June
HOWEVER, in the My account part on the e2save website it says she should send in on the 5th of December AND the 5th January. A phone call to e2save customer service says she should send it in on the 30th January because the one on their site and the info they have origanally provided her with is wrong.
Please advise? What should she do??0 -
if she is on price match then sounds right.
just remember to include the voucher and to include the order tracking number on the invoice slip when the phone first came, not the order ref no they gave you and told you it was important. (this nearly got me). and your 1st bill if ported No.
ignore what the online calender thing says it is misleading (probably intending to be)
if your terms and conditions request you to send a bill dated 4 months from connection i.e 120 days, then your estimations are correct, as long as you have sent the 4th monthly bill Oct which shows you have been connected for 120 days within the time frame, By special delivery
ignore what they tell you on the phone
ignore the online stuff as they contradict each other
stick to the terms and conditions you were sent with the phone and only then you can sue if (when) they dont pay.
dont wait too long for them to pay, see how others have started the legal process, as soon as they breach their part (as im am sure they will)
hope this helps:j  :j0 -
netherside7:- You MUST have made th claim in October or you will have forfeited ALL cashbacks already. If you send the december bill in IMMEDIATELY you will meet their way of doing things - but only if it gets there by by about 4th January (and possibly earlier so don't delay). You have slightly longer under the legal t&c if you're prepared to sue.0

She sent the October bill in and received the cashback.
She sent the December bill in last week. And it's still 'processing'.
So when should she send in the 8th month bill again?
If she sends in a bill on the 30th of Jan (like the lady on the phone said) then she would be sending her latest bill which would be the SEVENTH month bill as the 8th wouldn't have come yet . . .??0 -
Bill numbers are irrelevant. It's the dates which count whatever anyone there tells you.0

2 months after dec bill: i.e feb bill
if thats whats your t+cS state.
forget what they say on website
forget what they say on phone
do what they say on written T+Cs
happy new year:j  :j0 -
As I've recently taken out a price match clearance deal with e2save the contents of this thread are worrying me!
My connection date was ~16th Sept 07 and my billing date is ~28th each month (first bill 28th Sept 07)
I calculate that 120 days connection will be on about 12-13th Jan. I therefore concluded that I will have to send the bill issued on 28th Jan 08(i.e fifth actual bill) to comply with terms.
Checking the e2save cashbach checker for my account says that 1st claim should be submitted between 14th Jan and 13th Feb. This appears to agree with my calcs.
Have I got this right or is there something that is about to trip me up?Awaiting a new sig0 -
The January bill is correct. However, you will only have a week or so to get it to them once it arrives. They take no notice of the legal t&c so you can successfully sue as long as you do and they don't pay (in which case you can also claim ALL the cashback for the whole contract). You COULD send the December bill as long as it gets there after 14th January and isn;t 28 days old when it arrives. That is how they are doing things NOW; however, they have a habit nowadays of gleefully changing the goal-posts half way through a contract (or any way through it as long as it's different to what you originally agreed to) so you will have to bear that in mind and cover yourself. It seems your account dates are correct as far as they go; many are totally wrong so you are lucky. I would also watch that with subsequent claims you don't ened up with an ever smaller window between receiving the correct bill to claim and getting it them them within their arbitrary "claim window". If it's late but not one month old you can still sue.0

if arthas post says is 120 days after connection is 16th of jan, then why wont the 28th jan bill be correct? im confused?
i would like to know as thats the one i would send.
cheers:j  :j0 -
Apologies; I misread which bill she intends to send. I have re-written that and will clarify again here. Whilst it would be correct, by the time she receives it she will only have about a week to get it to them before they (incorrectly) close the claim window. She could send the December bill to arrive after 14th January. That's fine, except that it is against the legal t&c (but fulfills the ones they are actually following) AND if it gets there after 25th January it will be too old to be accepted, regardless of their "claim window".0
