Reference was made to sending an LBA to e2save. Please could someone let me know what that is? Also, my pursuit of my unsatisfied claim is being handled by someone called Osayi Asemota, who is a Cash Back Advisor for, I presume, One Stop Phoneshop (given that her email address is osayi.asemota@onestopphoneshop.co.uk) based at Customer Relations, Datum House, Electra Way, Crewe, CW1 6ZT. Does anyone know what the relationship is of One Stop Phoneshop to e2save and Carphone Warehouse?

Boy, you have a LOT to learn. See post 31 on:-

re. LBA. Onestopphoneshop is now, in fact, E2Save - which is, in fact a division of cpw.
Your LBA should not go to the "Advisor" but to the registered London address to be found on their website.
You might want to read the rest of that thread too, plus all the relevant threads on here relating to E2Save, Onestopphoneshop, cpw, ThePhonespot, OSPS and cpw. Happy reading!0 -
That's what's great about forums such as this - people willing and able to proffer advice. One is never too old to learn (including from mistakes!). Thanks for the links.0

I took out a 12 month contract with e2save, just after this time last year. I seem to remember reading something at the time that said the 11th bill could be sent in rather than the 12th for the last cashback claim, is this correct?
If this is correct, does it have to be the 11th or can you send in either?
Hope that makes sense! thanks in advance.0 -

Be careful with this. I was advised over the phone by E2Save that I should send in the 11th bill (rather than 12th) for a previous cashback claim. I did this, then received a letter rejecting my cashback claim.
It took several calls/letters of complaint to get them to pay out.0 -

according to the 'Chqback calendar' with my Wecome Pack, I should claim in June, Aug, Oct, Dec.
Do you think I should claim again or should I wait till next bill 02/Nov.

final chqback : December
Hi Merry x'mas to you all,
my final cash back is due this month sent in 10/12 and you know what-- they rejected being sent too early again  . I am really disappointing the way they handled chq back now (they used to be very good), I have to resubmitt the claim again, are they in some kind of financial problem ? (my brother got his rejected by sent in too late, they corrected it after he rang up), I think they are playing delayed tactic0 -
whats the best way to "proove" you have all the papers required in the bill when you submit the claim? a witness or photos or something else?
cheers:j  :j0 -
nanjo:- I have that situation. They haven't even declined mine - simply not paid. Court action now. Ignored LBA and a few other warnings. I'd see them in court but very much doubt they'll actually turn up. Is going to cost them 2-3 times what they owe me - so be it. You can play their games if you like - I won't so will take the alternative course when they try to mess me around.0

I had a cashback contract with E2Save last year. They paid the second and third cashbacks, but not the first. I have sent them several letters to no avail, so am now going to commence court proceedings against them in the small claims court.
They never even responded to my leters.
All I can say is:
1. Always send everything by recorded delivery - it's funny how they claimed not to have received mine, or my brother's cashback claims
2. Never give up - if nobody stands for it, they won't get away with it.
3. Try an autocashback offer next time!!! And if you're still thinking of using them, buy it through topcashback.co.uk and at least you'll get £26.50 cashback for starting a new contract with them. Better still, let me refer you to topcashback so I can earn a referral fee too!!!Comping Challenge: 2 x CDs £30, Outlet Shopping Vouchers £50
TopCashback: £59

1) This goes without saying - it's a very obvious, long-standing basic rule unless you have a fall-back position.
2) True. So why did you wait until you got your 3rd claim before suing them for the first??
3) No thanks. I only do 12 month free deals. I also wouldn't order via that site. However, it's good enough advice for the majority who really don't know how to play the cashback game and therefore who shouldn't be playing - especially nowadays.0
