    All I can say is:

    1. Always send everything by recorded delivery - it's funny how they claimed not to have received mine, or my brother's cashback claims

Using recorded delivery is a waste of money.

They now say that even if you used recorded delivery and the item gets lost then they won't pay out the cashback on this claim and any future claims.

The only way to safely post items to e2save is to use special delivery and pay for consequential loss insurance.

    Wrong.

If its sent recorded and its lost in the post and they say they won't pay out cash back it means you shouldn't be dealing with such cowboys in the first place. Only stupid cowboys can be fool enough to reject cashbacks just because its lost in the post via recorded delivery.
  • cheghead:- big deal. I've had or got dozens of deals through them and have "only" had to sue once. Maybe you'll continue to get lucky though... just follow the rules. As long as you can figure out what rules you're following and it sounds like you're prepared to have the rules changed half-way through the game.

    2) True. So why did you wait until you got your 3frd claim before suing them for the first??

I didn't wait - I've been chasing them all this time!

  • Then you waited. Chasing is for dogs and people who don't know what they're doing. You won't catch me "chasing".

Very happy to announce to thread....Cheque arrived this morning....will add to this later

Christmas is certainly going to be a little bit merrier afterall
  • Glad to hear it. I thought you would get it as I said - once they told you the cheque had been raised. Looks like they may have (very) narrowly avoided my first court action against a dealer too. They can ONLY get away with most of their new c**p if people let them. At least (in your case) they haven;t tried to exploit your mistake. However, rather than give them the benefit of the doubt I may just assume they didn't notice...! I'm sure you won't make that mistake again though! Lol!

Youre right, I certainly wont make any mistakes from now on....After getting the rest of it correct, I was really annoyed it was my own error that could have cost me the whole £440........but how quick they are...i used to have to wait around 60 days for CNM........which i didnt mind, as they all turned up(except the last, when they went bust)......to think I got my bill (dated the 29th)on the 6th, posted my claim Special Delivery and they got it on the 7th, phoned and they said the cheque was raised on the 13th, and lo and behold it was dated the 20th, and arrives on the 24th....an excellent service....but dont worry, I wont get over confident for the future claims......but its really nice to get the first one out of the way.....

When i phoned, the girl didnt ask at all for either my Transaction Number or Unique Order Reference Number...just Phone number.......

Thanks again for your help and also others who have contributed.

Good news for you as well, if theyve avoided a court case.....
