I'm sure it'll be fine - this time. However, your concern was justified given what they're like now, unfortunately. It's important to make sure you understand things fully before plunging into deals with this company - regardless of what they were like in the past. They will pay (usually without the kicking and screaming) but are looking for excuses not to and more and more ways of confusing their customers. Their emails are appallingly (and completely) misleading when you take out a deal, as is the (often) incorrect information on individual on-line accounts. The t&c are contradictory and inconsistent and the way they deal with things pays the t&c scant regard. If and when they choose to mess someone around they are oblivious and ignorant so unless you DO understand it all beforehand, don't take out a deal with them now or you will run the much higher risk of getting it wrong.0

This was my 5th cash back phone...the prevoius were all paid except the final payment from CNM....but as i got £30 back from Quidco and actually sold my D800 for £180, i couldnt really complain(it was also pointless as they went bust).....but yes you are correct....this lot appear to be expertly devious......thanks again, although this was my own fault on this occassion.0 -
No problem. I've had dozens of deals with cpw companies and had zero problems until recently - then only on one of mine and another on one of the peopke I ordered for (that one minor and resolved, the other to be through the courts by the looks of things!). I also lost a bit on Mobile Affiliates, but always knew the risks there from day one and mitigated the loss (in a different way to you). I'm quite happy to go for more deals but am highly aware of setting things up to avoid all the current problems. ironical that my only actual problem is on a much older contract and nothing to do with teh current t&c - all to do with the IIC and new ways of doing things (as many others have found!). Not a problem - quite "happy" to draw a line in the sand and sue if needbe - and may be the price that has to be paid in order to maintain good cashback deals. Such is life nowadays!0

I'm afraid there are still many who haven't woken up to the fact this company now talks the talk but doesn't always walk the walk. Cover yourselves and make sure you know what you're doing!0

Thanks for the advice mobilejunkie
E2save have been a nightmare, first I got a faulty phone which took them 3 weeks to replace, then my 'automatic' cashback wasn't very automatic at all and took me 6 weeks of chasing up after the date I was supposed to receive it by. And now I am still waiting for my cashback since September.0 -
I don't know if this will be of help to anyone, as I haven't read this huge thread from the beginning, but I've had the same problems as a lot of people with e2save.......great last year, money back no problem etc
As with everyone else I was confused, do I send the 4th bill and risk it being out of date, or the 5th bill and risk running out of time.
I tried ringing them, emailing etc all to no avail. Worry, worry, worry, £400 is a lot to lose, what do I do..........
Finally 2 days ago I got to speak to someone.
I was connected on 24th August with a Pricematch deal.
My first bill was dated 4th September.
I have been connected 120 days on 21st December (according to the gentleman I spoke to).
He said it does not matter if I send in the 4th or the 5th bill, as long as I wait until after 21st December to claim.
And I must have claimed within 30 days of this.
If I decide to send in the 4th bill, it must be no older than 28 days when I claim.
He also gave me the other dates to claim and explained that the bill must be the original copy, not a photocopy, as was previously accepted.
It should show your name and address, the tariff, the mobile phone number and should also show that the balance was paid up in full previously.
He also recommended sending it by recorded delivery.
I hope this will help someone, as it made me feel a lot happier.0 -

The general messages on the thread is that they will tell you one thing and then canncel your cashback cos you dont meet the T+C. They send emails with incorrect info on so, if someone tells you this over the phone you have no evidence in a court for a claim, you either need it in writing or on the T+C so dont be too sure here.:j  :j0 -
To be honest, I think he just confirmed the way I had interpreted it myself.
But, as you correctly state, this is only hearsay, and as such is not reliable.
I would definitely not sign up for another chequeback deal, it's far too risky, and I will feel exceptionally lucky if I manage to recoup all of my money.
Good luck to all of us, I fear we're going to need it.0 -

If you send the fourth bill, it doesnt show you have been connected for 120 days...but the 5th bill does. I think you really need to read the TandC's that were in force when you took out your contract.0
