With moving accomodation I have lost a cheque from e2save, what chance do I have of getting them to reissue it?0

Try emailing the ever-so-helpful E2Save forum address. Post the answer on here and since they read these threads they will see this and know other people will find out just how helpful they are with your problem. That way you might actually get a replacement - otherwise you can probably kiss it goodbye.0

Oh Mobilejunkie, Mobilejunkie - please confirm that I'm not being a thicky.
OSPS purchase on 07/05/08 first claim on 07/11/08 by my calculations - 6 month connection anniversery date. Bill send on 12/11/08 bill dated 08/11/08, voucher, invoice & original bill sent. Claim rejected!
T&C from booklet sent with dispatch.
1)EG '£25 cashback M3' would mean a claim after 3 months of being connected.
2)Connection date can be found on the top right hand corner of your sales invoice.
I've sent the bill on my 6 month connection anniversery - as seems to me to be described in my T&C.
Call to the helpline - I need to supply the October bill - because it's no longer the connection 'date' that's relevant but the connection 'month'. They're shifting goalposts right? I've been told if I resubmit the claim with the October bill it'll be fulfilled or I can go to 'high level complaint' yeah right. Also told to ammend one of the vouchers to read 'one' which I do not trust. Havea pdf of these so that's what I'll use.
Thoughts please? I'm intending to re-submit and then a LBA if they're still playing silly bu**ers.I do hope you're telling the truth?0 -
You are wise not to trust anything they say over the phone. In cases like this (where an agent has taken it on themselves to make a change to the ts + cs by saying alter a voucher and send it in) you need this in writing.0

1) Their interpretation of the various infamous t&c shifted (or reverted) back to their old ways by May (historical and complicated). The way they NOW do things is different to before (not a lot of people have realised that either yet, so I'm sure you won't be alone in this.
2) You have ignored all my previous warnings (you're not alone in that either) and relied on the rubbish they send out with the phone (though a court may well sypathise with that if you end up suing).
3) The legal t&c you signed up to (which you probably now won't have access to) gave you 60 days to claim, though they constantly change claim window dates (and mislead indicating only 30 days as well) just in case people figure all that out. By my reckoning you can submit the October bill, to reach them by 5th December - so DON'T delay. Then it won't be a question of their so-called "high level complaints department" (merely another mechanism to stall and mislead, as is their occassional appearance on here). You will then need to submit the next claim based on the DECEMBER bill and one failed claim doesn't preclude the remaining ones.
Others take note - YOU NEED TO KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING IF YOU GO NEAR THIS COMPLETELY DISREPUTABLE OUTFIT (and not many do, despite many thinking they do).0 -

I would never ignore your sage advise - which has been very useful & always appreciated- i surprised you haven't entered into some sort of psychosis answering questions re phone rebates.
I'm usually ok - keep in mind I only run 2x personal contracts, am aware of OSPS tricksiness, so I'm not always up to date with their latest wheeses but try to keep my eyes open, but I don't have lots of contracts running so am not as adept as your good self.
I printed out the rebate T&C at the time of purchase & have the booklet they sent too (belt and braces see). EG on the download doc 1st Jan purchase = 1st July for the initial claim in month 6 which makes me think I haven't done anything wrong, but that they're being shysters.
Incidentially I usually send via Special Delivery - but know this is contentious - I've never worked out why though? Can you shed any light.I do hope you're telling the truth?0 -
Sending sd is a waste of money. You need sd plus consequential loss insurance (if your ts + cs insist on any original documents, or if your ts +cs say you lose the claim if they don't receive the it).0

Nothing in my T&C about original docs although I send these anyway so there's no reason to reject a claim. I've used SD simply because I want to know the claim get's there a day later and it's electronically tracked - I can confirm receipt. Recorded always seems to be a bit more hit and miss.
Thanks for the input!I do hope you're telling the truth?0 -
I use SD for exactly the same reason ie:
I know exactly when it has arrived.
However I have seen many quotes saying that they do try to worm out of paying until you inform them of the item tracking number, then they back down!
I would always use this method but others must make up their own minds.I am NOT a mortgage & insurance adviser - or anything to do with finance, that was put on by the new system I dont know why?!0 -
My thoughts really - a couple of quid extra v my £100 claim being ignored. RD seems to have pulled it's act together a bit more recently, but there was a time when it was completely useless. Posties aren't quite so assiduous with anything other than SD coz as I understand it the items are tracked to individuals (btw I used to have my post stolen at one point in time, which is why I know some of the RM procedures - they do an internal security review - mysteriously post then started arriving once again - sorry off topic).I do hope you're telling the truth?0
