I know; thanks. I believe there are far more people who feel the same as you than the reverse, but since I do have to repeat things ad infinitum it's worth making the point again to the unconverted to do their own research rather than relying on (or expecting to!) others - and that research means proper research, which takes time!0

Yes, I was on a price-match. Their loss!! I'm glad I got one over on them. I wasn't expecting to get anything on my final cashback.0

e-mailed 'em, seems my claim has not been received despite the PO tracking saying they had it at Southampton.
I've been asked to send copies in to Loughborough, which I've done, I'll wait and see..................
Well they got the copies (signed for) and nothing, I rang at least 6 weeks ago and jumped through their hoops and answered their trivial questions for 23 minutes, assured the cheque would be sent out within 28 days, nothing.
Gits.
This company and the lying scroats that work for 'em deserve all they've got coming.

I'm afraid it's usually a waste of more time and effort playing games with them. LBA then sue as long as you can prove your case. Even IF they go to court (and win - which is not impossible but unlikely) it will cost them a LOT of money in the process!0

Just to say I have received my first cashback cheque today. No need for LBA. Just a quick reminder e mail to customer service. Posted second claim and hoping for the best.0

Right so clearly OSPS are playing silly beggars. 2x cashbacks (see above) same offer, bought on the same date, both claims submitted on the same 6 month anniversary of connection date (I know the claim date criteria has now changed, thanks MJ). One was rejected: I was told to re-submit the claim using the previous monthly bill to the one submitted as the 60 day claim window was still open - nothing heard back yet. The second has been paid out without any problem within 21 days (by OSPS's now changed claim window criteria, incorrectly it would seem). So in the same situation you get two different results.
I'm planning to email asking them for the appropriate claim dates for both contracts as their claim criteria has changed and no longer matches the paper documentation sent with the phones - at least an email produces a paper trail. My last experience on the phone was odd, not least because the staff were very keen to talk over me & because I don't trust what they say (if i phone i make a note of the operator's name, the time and what was said btw).
All in all, I'm not keen to use OSPS/E2Save again, I don't mind jumping through a few hoops for cashback, but fiddling with the claim T&Cs so they no longer match those at the point of sale/supplied with the invoice is really disreputable practice.I do hope you're telling the truth?0 -
Yep. Been telling people exactly all of that for about 18 months now. They are also getting worse in other ways which I won't go into. My advice on them now is unequivocal - STEER CLEER!!!0

Wish you would....I do hope you're telling the truth?0 -
It is not always a great idea to broadcast every thing you know for several reasons. However, if you follow the groundrules and are prepared for a fight you should be ok. Since most people don't my advice is as given!0

An update on my recent cashback experiences FWIW:
Claims reaching claim 4 and 5 - have been paid within 21 days of submission without any issues, submitting bills as per their previous requirements (ie bill 5 being the 13th bill received).
Latest cashback claim 1 (6 months); sent 7th bill received as per previous practice; claim was rejected. Had just enough time to resubmit using 6th bill received - cheque received within 21 days of resubmission.
Whilst I am unimpressed by the arbitrary change in bill required under recent new contracts, I am at least pleased that cheques are still being sent out in a timely manner. I have great sympathy with those who have been caught by the moving goalposts and who received rejected claim letters too late to resubmit within the 60 day window and thus had to fight to get their cashback.0
