Have you noticed that they reappear shortly after any mention of comlaints to Ofcom? They really do not want that, in view of what Ofcom have done to Phones 4U.
• Well spotted. Actually they apear so rarely it's obvious they must have a sudden need to seem to be a decent company at those points, even if it's a very thinly veiled sham - but I hadn't noticed that possibility. In fact, I was aware of another investigation pending and wondered if it might be because of that. I am sure they will pay a price for their lies and contempt of both customers and the courts (they do that too) eventually. Shame though - always sad to see the good turn evil.

Add to that their contempt for the rules of this Board (regularly pointed out to them) where they are happy enough to continue posting (and breaking the site rules in every post) to try and take advantage of what they see as getting "free" advertising in their attempt to improve the justifiable low esteem in which they are now held.

you seem to be right on top of this e2save malarky.

I've recently signed up (before i saw this thread obviously) so in about 4 months from now i'll reach bill 6 / month 6 and will need to send off my cashback claim.

is there any info anywhere on all the steps i should take to give myself the best chance of getting the cashback (and/or the best chance of proving in court that i applied properly)?

i.e. is it the 6th month or the 6th bill - how do you work out which bill to send?

i.e. i presume all claims should be photocopied and send recorded delivery...but i'm looking for other info / tips / instructions...
Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!
• The time to ask those questions really is before you sign up; and two months ago it had been quite plain for over a year that E2Save are now totally dishonest and disreputable.

You need to look at the legal t&c you signed up to at the point of sale (as always) rather than the tripe they subsequently produce. Bill numbers have ALWAYS been (for years!) meaningless - I never even look at those. Since I am not privvy to your particular (t&c (though can have an educated guess) I suspect that (unlike others who may be reading this) you will need to send the bill which is dated within month six (inclusive) and should have 60 days from the date of the bill to legally (whatever they may say now) submit it. However, I must repeat; READ the t&c which you signed up to at the time. Those are all that really matters in court - especially when you are able to show that the company ignores them and reinvents its own version (and claim dates) time and again for each individual contract. If you haven't got those now I'm afraid you've not followed that groundrule either!

• I know someone who has printed out their cashback claim dates from the E2Save Web Site:

1. On taking out contract.

2. After they rejected a perfectly valid claim.

3. To prepare for Court appearance.

All 3 are different.

They really are going to look mugs in Court.

What do you have to say about that E2CS?

:rotfl:
I am NOT a mortgage & insurance adviser - or anything to do with finance, that was put on by the new system I dont know why?!
• I know of another case about which I could say precisley the same. In fact, I believe in that instance they have given at least FOUR different claim dates. Would be nice if they appear in court so that they may be presented with these in public instead of hiding behind the robotic and pathetic "offer to look into it" which appears on these threads a whole TWELVE times! Personally, I'd rather the judge looked into it it - and their faces.

Well done. Enough complaints and Ofcom will launch an investigation - that's what they told me.

Use the contact@ofcom.org.uk address, but copy Miriam Martin (Case Leader for the Phones 4U investigation) in as well - miriam.martin@ofcom.org.uk

Let's get these twisters sorted out once and for all.
