It's a waste of your time and money ever ringing them - which you will see if you read through the thread. As soon as they breach the contract (by being a day late in paying you - all the other disappointments you have with them (like not texting you) are not contract breaches), then go down the lba and mcol route.
Much less stress and hassle, and if you go for the fundamental breach claim, then you cut out any future hassle as well.
Sure but them breaching the contract is dependant on me holding up my side of the bargin - sending in appriopriate paperwork on time. Without proof that i have done so how could i build a case against them? Surely the registered delivery would only prove that i sent something to them?0 -
True - but then why would you?
There are those that do look at things like you.
You could video everything going into an envelope (with your vicar acting as a witness), then take the vicar along with you to the post office to witness that you don't switch envelopes and hand in an empty one to the clerk for posting!
If you read through the thread you will see the successes reported by posters who have successfully sued.
It will be more rewarding than time wasted phoning them up!0 -
Dont fart in front of the vicar - better to fart in the envelope and send it to E2Liars.I am NOT a mortgage & insurance adviser - or anything to do with finance, that was put on by the new system I dont know why?!0

When E2save are given this information, they then process the cash back.
Needless to say this is my last contract with them.
Who is the best Cash back company to go to next time? I notice that "Mobiles2yourdoor" have some very good deals.

I have just resolved a failed royal mail delivery with e2save it went like this
Me -> e2I sent in a cashback claim on 2nd October 2008 by recorded delivery. My transaction number as written on the claim form is xxxxxxx and my order reference number is xxxxxx finally my phone number is xxxxxx. The bill was dated 24th September 2008 however I only received it on 1st October 2008. I would like to enquire as to whether the claim has been received and processed. Our records show that we have not yet received your cashback claim information for the mobile number: xxxxxxxx. The account is showing outstanding for the Month 6 claims. Occasionally, errors are made by Royal Mail with our deliveries........
To allow us to investigate this case further and see what can be done regarding the missing claims would you please be able to provide us with a copy of your Royal Mail tracking number. Once we have this we can raise the matter with our cashback team and they will be able to investigate this further. The barcode on the receipt is xxxxxxx, the destination address is PO Box 8840, LE11 9EL.Thank you for your reply email to our Customer Support Team. The Royal Mail reference you have supplied does not show that the claim has been delivered yet. In order for us to resolve the situation fully we require a copy of the bill to be sent to us along with a copy of the proof of posting. Attached in .pdf format is a three page document with my phone bill, the claim form and the receipt from the post office.Thank you for your reply email to our Customer Support Team enclosing your claim documentation. The Royal Mail receipt you have supplied does show that a claim was sent on time.
I have spoken to our processing team and the month 6 claim has now been accepted. Please allow 21-28 days for the cheque although it may be sooner.
I apologise for any inconvenience caused to you by this issue.

All a lot of hassle.
LBA and MCOL is less hassle and (if you sue for their fundamental breach) more rewarding in terms of no future claims to make plus they have to pay you interest on the late payments.0 -
