Just a quick update on my case- I submitted three MCOL's to them for mine, my wife and my mum's contracts on the basis of the non automatic cashback after 2 months.
Their 28 days was due to be up today on my one (my mums and my wife's one was 1 day later) as they had filed an acknowledgement.
Anyway when I have checked today it looks like they are disputing the whole claim and as such have entered a defence. As such the case cannot be dealt online.
Is this normal? and do they still cave in or is it likely that I will end up having to go to court for this?
Any one else had this occur as I thought that they would try to settle before the 28 days was up.Mark Hughes' blue and white army0 -
READ the thread. It's perfectly normal.0

Dancoward:
Take them all the way, other companies have said this "missing paperwork" scam before.. You could set the boundry here so they dont try this with others.. MJ is right, they can not prove that you did not send in the original, and i think their legal team will concede this too. keep us posted:j  :j0 -
hi there, how do you know if your on a price match deal or other with e2save? it was a cashback deal take out at the beginning of this year and my wife has this ?July bill to send in for the first claim, she is on 02 and i cant see anywhere in the terms whereby a copy of the bill is allowed but read on this thread that if you had a orange contrct with them an original was needed.Listen to what people say, but watch what people what people do!!0

It's not a price-match deal - but if you don't know which set of t&c it's on and understand all the rest you shouldn't go NEAR a cashback deal with this company - or do one in general, actually. Since you appear to be able to look in the terms you can follow them rather than take advice on here - assuming of course that you're looking at the right terms (most aren't). There have been at least two different sets of t&c this calendar year - and neither is a price-match deal. In addition, within each set lies another set - plus all the other information on the website. Apart from that beware all the misleading information they provide in emails etc - much of it is incorrect. Again, don't go near these deals if you don't know them (AND the dealer) inside out beforehand.0

thanks, so mine isnt a price match and i can send copies.
looking through your posts yor constantly telling people not to go near cashbacks, but why not, this forum is fr helping people and saving money and if others can help others and advise then why not. I dont think anyone on here is stupid but sometimes confirmation from someone that your right or wrong us all that is needed. I'm not having a go just rather if you not going to offer any advice why comment at all!Listen to what people say, but watch what people what people do!!0 -
Hopefully some people who are thinking about going into one of these deals will stop and either put in all the groundwork and research necessary or avoid and not end up on here once they've got themselves into trouble. Prevention is far better than cure and this isn't a simple or lazy game unless you're prepared to lose all the money. THAT'S why!0

well we will agree to disagree, at he end of the day if would be more helpful to offer the advice that people want rather than talking down to the,, like i say if you have nothing to say thats helpful why bother replying and instead sit back and gleefully say to yourself ou have it all sorted as far as your claims go.
you dont wok for e2save do you?Listen to what people say, but watch what people what people do!!0 -
Maybe you should tell E2Save - I'm sure they think I'm on their side! Lol! Perhaps I can collect payment from them for all the damage I've been doing all this time to the many who would have otherwise lost all their money...
Of course, establishing that it isn't a price-match deal isn't helpful, neither is pointing out that there is more than one set of t&c (so you could be following the WRONG ones in any case) and warning others who may actually be doing their research BEFOREHAND on here to make absolutely certain they know what they're doing is of no value to anyone!0
