    I've been Money Tipped!
    Final cashback received today (£108).
They received it on the 16th July and cheque arrived 28th July.
This has been by far my simplest cashback deal, no issues at all and very fast payment - well done e2save, 1 happy customer.

Hi, I'm about to make my first claim with e2save. I finally recieved my autocashback after 2 phone calls.

I'm told my first claim is 6th bill (month 6th claim). I've read so much about e2save and the problems that comne with it I'm thoroughly confused.

My contract with e2save started on the 16 January. I recieved my first network bill on the 22 January. My last bill recieved was on the 22nd July. Now the 22nd June bill would literally be the 6th bill, but everywhere I seem to read, it says people should actually send the 7th Bill, or as I see stated all the time the 1st July bill.

I'd really appreciate it if someone could givem e it straight, which bill is it? 22nd June or 22nd July?

Also, the address I have in my contract on on my original claim vouchers and booklet to send cashback claims to is
    e2Save Cashback Claims, PO Box 462, Crewe, CW1 9DY

Is this still accurate, and is it accurate that I should still send the original bill, NOT a copy?

One last query, in the original e2save Booklet it says cashback cannot be claimed where an outstanding amount is displayed on the bill. I'm ith Organe and on direct debit, it shows Amount due each month because it's forward but still, it's direct debit. This doesn't qualify right?

I know most of these answers have probably been answered several times but there's so much information on the topic of e2save and it's literally all over the place and hard to single out the exact answer, if there is one.

    Any help greatly appreciated :)

    1) July bill (in any case your June bill is now out of date and would be rejected).

    2) Crewe Recorded delivery and check it gets there (redirected in two days to Loughborough)..

    2) Copy (check your t&c but it should be ok) BUT:- I believe it doesn't specifuy in yours; having just checked the website they have moved the goal-posts for the umpteenth time. If you don't need the original bill I would keep a copy to resend if needbe and send the original. If they reject a copy I would be prepared to sue on the basis that the t&c for your offer don't require an oiginal (I'm also sure I have a copy somewhere of previosu website instructions which actually state a copy is accepted for non-pricematch contracts but since I've never needed it I'm not searching for it!).

    3) Not a problem.

Thank you so much, straight forward and to the point. I have conflicting statements in my original documents regarding copy or original so I'll send both and keep a copy ofr myself, just in case.

I have found the thing from the website, but it applies for contracts taken ou from 1st April. Therefore don't send both; send the original, keep a copy, don't delay and if it doesn't track send the copy. It will take 2 days to track since it's redirected but you should have a decent case if anything goes wrong with regard to the copy/original - at least worth a try. One thing would concern me; if you really thought it might be the June bill you'd have already lost, so don't delay with the second claim using the September bill and so on.

On the e2Save website under cashback on my account it does state

    Send month 6 claim between 16th Jul 2008 and 14th Aug 2008

So I figure I'm atleast covered. I guess it also makes more sense that it is infact the 22nd July bill. Thanks again.

I wouldn't take too much notice of what it says on the account; it's often incorrect and changes. However, those dates are correct at present and are consistent with the actual t&c for a change. As I always advise, don't wait to claim as long as it's inside the correct window, as the July bill will be; that leaves you with a back-up plan. Don't trust them, follow the real t&c and you should be ok.

similar problem to you but spoke to a nice customer service person called danielle who said copy bills are ok, i can even send one printed off the 02 website (which i have done) it must show, contract your on, mobile number, name and address and no outstanding balance. I ave the crewe address on my vouchers, logged in today under mycashbackclaim.com and the new vouchers show loughborough, danielle said send it to loughborough as all mail to crewe gets forwarded onto loughborough anyway, i was unsure of this as others i have read have had problems, so i got it on a email from her which i have in my files to fire back at them if they use that as a get out clause, sent mine off toay to loughborough, i actaully attached both cashback vouchers new and old pointing out that the old ones were wrong as per the email from danielle, also wrote my transaction number and put a astrix next to the information they want, address, name etc, there probably look at it and think cocky git but i'm not taking any chances with them so i'll have to wait and see. I think this will be the last cashback i do, deals are pretty good for lots of minutes anyway and i cant be bothered with all the hassle anymore.

Anyone relying on an oral reassurance on anything from this company is taking a high risk. They LIE, repeatedly, time and again. You aren't covered unless you can PROVE that you have complied with the t&c. I won't be follwing any advice from phone calls (I stopped calling them a year ago because it was clear they were a complete shambles and playing endless games without actually paying what was due). Soothing tongues become the opposite when you discover they were covered in slime!

Now they've discovered "without prejudice", they are even prepared to lie when writing to you (albeit writing in their "soothing" manner).

Anyone driven to issuing proceedings against them to get their money will find they hand over dealings with the court to their solicitor - who will cynically sign a statement of truth to the court stating they don't owe you anything at all, and send it in as their defence to the claim.

This buys them time, which is used by their admin staff to correspond directly to arrange a settlement of the claim. All this correspondence is marked without prejudice.

Eventually a settlement is agreed, and they without prejudice promise a cheque will be sent within a given timeframe (eg 7 days).

As many of us have found, this cheque doesn't come as promised (usually coinciding with court deadlines for progressing matters, which if missed mean the case is considered closed by the court), and only is sent after further chases and continuation of the separate court proceedings - showing them you do mean business!

Anyone that smugly posts in this thread (intended for problems with e2save) that they have had their greatest cashback experience, and well done to e2save should thank their lucky stars they weren't picked on this time, learn the lessons from all those who have been the victims of this company - not just reported here, but across the web in similar forums, and never risk dealing with them again.
