They would have been under the pre-price match t&c, so via E2Save (as it was before the IIC took charge last May from Onestopphoneshop) they would have claimed in month 12 inclusive rather than after the 12 months were up if that makes sense (not a lot does with them now!). One lost out for other reasons and the one who did get theirs also had to sue for other reasons on the claim prior to their last. Complicated ain't it! Nothing would be likely to tempt me to "upgrade" - not even a fifth k750i free.
  • Call me asinine, but what exactly does "IIC" refer to?

And yes, I've tried acronymfinder.com and countless google searches :p

    IDIOTS IN CHARGE.

With regards to upgrading/extending, the guy I spoke to seemd pretty clued up and when I explained I needed the 12th month bill he actually sorted out the date for when it would be processed and we agreed a callback date to fialise the contract. His word seemed ok and the bill did arrive showing the correct details/tariff for my final bill. This was sent off on Monday (special delivery) and as yet no bl00dy tracking is showing, not even the re-direction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Singular; he took over E2Save from Onestopphoneshop around May/June 2007 and just before Onestopphoneshop became E2Save. Pity it wasn't the other way round; Onestopphoneshop was never as "safe" as E2Save - but although it is E2Save which survived the IIC took over the reigns and promptly degraded the whole place.

It takes two days so ought to be tracking this afternoon/evening. Not much point in SD unless you also pay for the insurance. Must be a price-match but if you're on cpw O2 you should be able to resend with a copy bill. Otherwise...!

When it is sent to Crewe it takes 2 days without fail by rd. Of course, I've never sent one by sd (use non-either when the t&c permit, but the price-match ones don't, of course!).

    Panic over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    I mistook the letter V for a U (Doh)
After checking, all is sorted after re-direction.

"Your item with reference ZV*********GB was delivered before 12:24 on 16/07/08.
As the item was redirected, it will have taken longer than usual. Please ensure the correct address is used for future mailings."

God, have I dropped a few clangers these last few weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully the cheque will appear in around 10 days.

So you finalised your deal AFTER the 12th month bill had been printed with no change of tariff.

I'm upgrading at the start of month 11, which means my month 12 bill will probably show a change of tariff (I don't know how O2 upgrades work).

That's right the 12th bill showed the original tariff.
Hope all goes well for you................

quck uestion regarding sending your claims off, if sent special will it cover you for the remaining contract the claim goes missing in post, ive got my first claim to send off and if i miss it i default on the rest of the cashback, so thought i could cover myself with royalmail and claim the remainder if it walk about.
