Should that happen it'll be the well-worn LBA path for you! At least you seem to have a reasonable idea of what you're doing!
I'm sticking to the letter of all the t+c's and have a calender marked up with the claim dates. My bills usually arrive about a week after the claim date, so I shouldn't have any problem with getting claims in on time. I always photograph the claim form attached to the bill showing all the relevant information (bill date, calls made around the relevant connected period, tariff's, name, etc) along with the addressed envelope in shot and send everything recorded signed-for. (I opted for Special Delivery this time, which is possibly OTT).
I just had a wee doubting moment about what was on the letters I shredded. One successful claim and four to go ...

Sad that a company which used to be so reliable and trustworthy has degenerated into one ruled by misinformation and stupidity. There are many things now indicating that they have really gone in the wrong direction and the number of previosuly loyal customers realising that things have changed for the worse must take its toll on them eventually. A good reputation and trust takes a long while to build but is quickly destroyed - and they are well on the way.0

Has anyone been in this situation and if so what did you do?
Last month I posted my daughters 3rd cashback claim to the Dunstable address which I used twice previously without problem. As it hasn't tracked I have contacted Royal Mail who tell me it was redirected and delivered to a Southampton box but that it hasn't been collected from that box so should be on its way back to me and to allow till the middle of this week to get it back.
Interestingly Royal Mail also say I should have used special delivery and not recorded.

I recived my cashback phone on 27th March 2008 and I am ment to receive an automatic cash back after 1 month. How long should I wait for it? May now!
The documents say after 1 month and email is below.
From the email:
FREECashback Claim Process:
A credit of £111.00 will be raised automatically by cheque within 2 months if you do not cancel your contract. To gain the remainder of your cashback, you will need to claim for each instalment.Instalment 1 - You will need to claim 6 months from connection and you have 30 days from this date to submit your claim. Send us your claim form and monthly bill showing your name, address, mobile number and tariff you are connected to. (This bill must be no older than 28 days when we receive it and have no balance brought forward.)i.e. if you purchased on the 1st of January 2007, you need to send in the bill that is dated around the 1st July 2007, and you will have until the 30th July 2007 to do so. This is 180 days (6 months) after connection.0 -
If the documents which say they pay after one month are the ts + cs, then wait no longer!
LBA followed by MCOL! (It's a fundamental breach of the contract, so ask for the lot, not just the late payment).0 -
Purchased a phone recently on the 12 months at £1.99 on O2 via cashback redemption offer. They have charged a £9.99 admin fee on the invoice that came with the delivery, is this is their normal procedure, haven't seen anyone mention it before?
They have enclosed a free Orange sim with same amount of credit too with the package but did not ask for this.0 -
PM,
I have completed LBA and MCOL for my overdue automatic cashback. I sent LBA after the 2 months. e2save have until 19/5/08 to enter defence. I will keep forum updated.0 -
Mrs scrooge:
which address does your T+C's say to send it to? if it is the dunstable, once you get the returned letter you can send a LBA demanding the remainder of the cashback, then MCOL as long as you are satisfied you have complied with your T+C's.
I use SD with added consequential loss cos if they lose the RD you wont get a penny in compo

I never got charged an admin fee when i did it, it does not sound right you have an orange sim either, maybe its a mistake:j  :j0 -

i m going to move out from my house soon. I tried to call e2save (0871) last time but i failed to call them and wasted 40 pounds for nothing. Can i just go to carphoneware house shop(near my house) and ask them to change the address to my new house address? Or is there any alternative pathway for me to change the address? i'll definitely will not call 0871 again!!
