It doesn't state the cheque will be received within 2 months and I think it's best to wait 28 days for the cheque to arrive

Each to their own decision, of course.

But why allow as many as 28 days grace? Where did that figure come from?We know the post can be slow, but that is over generous.

And try getting 28 days of grace from them if you sent your claim in late?

I agree with Quentin. Why wait? It seems to me that it is policy not to pay the automatic cashback. Both myself and my sister didn't receive it and when we rang up there was no questioning of it or saying that we should wait a week for the post... they just said they would put in a request to pay the money. It's a good idea to have a hands free phone with a speaker so you can be getting on with something useful whilst you wait for them to answer though.

I agree with what you say, but if expecting a cheque within 2 months and re-acting rashly when it only states a cheque will be raised automatically within 2 months is the problem. 28 days after the 2 months would be my max. time, but as you say, each to their own decision.
I would hate to advise people to go via Moneyclaim too early and waste their money.

On a better note, I've today received my third cashback (£108), so feel very comfortable now, and within 2 1/2 weeks, so well pleased.

i have just printed off my cash back claims forms and they ask for a Transaction number, can anyone tell me what number I need to put here. There is also a line entitled, Cashback calimed, what do you put here, do you put the month you are claiming ie 6 months or do you put the monetary amount you want, ie £62.82

    Thanks in advance

Your "Transaction No." is in the top righthand corner of your "sales invoice".
Cashback claimed is the amount you are claiming as per the terms of your contract, ie; £62.82 or as appropriate. Just write "Installment 1 £62.82" for your 1st installment and amend to suit for others.

Alternatively, trying spending just a little bit of your own time reading the answer which has been clearly given times many times before on these threads! Your attention might actually be drawn to rather more fundamental issues then which could (more likely) save you losing all your cashbacks.

Well I got through but got transferred and gave up after waiting for 33 minutes. Have e-mailed them so will see if I get any joy there.

Could people tell me the most effective email, fax, postal address for e2save Customer Services? The phone number is a waste of time!!

I have a simply issue of an incorrectly drawn out cashback cheque.

    thanks,

  • I called e2save this morning. I sent in my 10th bill last month for my 4th lot of cashback. I sent it to the Dunstable address on the vouchers as I have with all previous correspondence. I had not received the usual text message saying they were processing my claim. the guy I spoke to this morning said that they had been swamped with cashback claims and had sub-contracted work out to Portugal and if your claim went there then no messages were sent. There have been some problems with Portugal and all the work is being sent back so they can find someone closer to home to do it. He checked my file and my claim has not been processed. He asked for my bill date tne the recorded delivery receipt number. As I had sent the bill and it had ARRIVED to them within 28 days he said my details would be passed internally to the UK cashback team and a cheque would be requested within 14 days. I offered to re-send details but he said they can see I sent within the timeframe and they have my details on file so that will be OK. Fingers crossed I don't have to chase again.

For anyone else who has not receieved a confirmation text phone up and chase as I have a feeling paperwork may be in limbo between e2save and Portugal as they are willing to go off proof of delivery and dates.

I was looking to get a new phone in a month when this contract runs out - it's my 2nd year with e2save and my husbnad has had cashback deals in the past - but this time I have had hassle and I can't say I trust the company very much now.

Anyone believe this Portugal excuse? Seems a bit fishy to me. In anycase it shouldn't make a difference, if they don't pay, LBA and sue.

Heard that about 3-4 years ago. One of my old contracts is going through the Dunstable address and a cheque is on the way. By the by - one of the people I look after recently sued and (as expected) they caved in after the usual delay (having lodged the standard defence merely to bide time).
