Face by Benjamin Zephaniah wasn't my usual kind of book but it's one I've heard a lot about so thought I would give it a go. It took a bit to get into but I quite enjoyed it. It made me think about how quick we can be to judge people who look different to ourselves, even when we don't mean to treat them any differently.
Not sure what will be next. I'm still slowly re-reading Harry Potter, but the books are too big and heavy to have as bus books on the way to work!
Well done! I love rereading the Harry potter books but agree in ex you've read the first 3 the books are massive and you need a sewerage bag just for the book. Maybe have 2 books on the go one for travelling and then the Harry potter ones£10,000 to go to a debt free life0 -
I love reading Harry Potter books. When I was a teacher I use to borrow the first 4 from the library in audio format and play them in my classroom whilst the children were doing Art etc. They also loved listening to them and it kept them quiet!!!!
Now reading one that my cousin gave me - Wives and Lovers by Jane Elizabeth Varley. It is about three sisters and their different lives.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

Just finished The Time Keeper by Mitch Albom. Really enjoyed it. Very clever idea and makes you think about how we view time and about just embracing and enjoying our lives.
Starting 'Dear Lupin' by Charles and Roger Mortimer, which is a series of letters written by Roger Mortimer to his son throughout his life.No more buying books Books in 2016 = 20.

I have about 200 books I don't need and wish to gain some more space in my house where do people recommend I sell to I'd rather sell in bulk. I tried webuybooks and zapper but out of 200 they would only accept 3 of them which wasn't very helpful. I would take all to charity shop but my nearest is a bus ride away which would take a few journeys and cost would be up so thought if I did a website would just all go in one bulk and I'd make a few pound as well. Or if any of you lovely lot live in London and want them you are more than welcome. All fiction/ children's books.£10,000 to go to a debt free life0

Very kind of you Island.girl. I live I London and it's very tempting but think my DH would have a meltdown if I introduced more books into our home!
I hope you find a loving home for them. Consider giving the fictions to a local retirement home, perhaps?MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -

Island.girl, If you join any of those groups below in your region and offer them there they will be gone like hot cakes and you don't even have to take them anywhere! Or if you have the time you can sell them on amazon ?
