I'm a member. Have managed to swap quite a few books although just remember that some books may stay listed for a while before someone decides to read them so it isn't a quick fix if you want to get rid of books quickly but I, like you, use it to swap for books I would like to read.

If you let me know your name on there I'll see if you have anything I'd like to read.

Finished Remember me - taking it to work for someone to read. Really enjoyed the light read. It makes you think what life would be like if you had lost your short term memory.
Started to read Shadows of a Workhouse. It is written by the same person who wrote Call the Midwife and some of the same characters are in there. Found the early life of the story - Jane quite harrowing - how she was treated.

  • Finished Bridget Jones: Mad about the boy. Very enjoyable. Written very like the first 2. I couldn't read the characters without the actors voices in my head! Hoping they make a film of it.
Not sure what I will read next
No more buying books Books in 2016 = 20.
    Target for 2018 = 7/21
No more buying DVDs ? 2018 target 27/52

I've read all the books by Jenny Worth and really enjoyed them all although Call the Midwife may have been my favourite as whilst reading it as I was able to picture the scenes from the TV series in my head and it kind of helped sort of put a face to the name, although I know not the real face:rotfl:

Yes, I have found that I am also picturing the characters. How many others did Jenny Worth write?

This is why I tend to have so many unread books I've had for years - I get distracted by newer ones! If it helps it only took me about a week to read!

Starting The Time Keeper by Mitch Albom next. I've had it about a year. I loved The five people you meet in Heaven so I'm hoping its just as good.

oh i love mitch's books, but i dont think ive read this one. please let me know what you think of it.

I started the captains daughter by leah flemming, theres a book circle where i work and i gave them a bag full of books. because the organiser knows ive just cross stitched the titanic she has given me this to read as its about fictional characters on that journey.
