Ian Rankin is gone - charity shop bag . Just started Ghostheart by Roger Ellory, very promising indeed, more of a literary thriller. Found it hard to put down after the first chapter!First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0

Hi Mrs Money Penny,
Can I please join this challenge. I have lots of read and unread books!
Just finished - Paths of Glory - Jeffery Archer about the climber George Mallory- would recommend it. I am now looking out for the documentary on it. Now started The Cuckoo's Calling - Robert Galbraith2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

Yes aka Jk Rowling.
I am a big fan of the HP books. I have seen many children who hate reading change their attitudes and become 'book worms' once that have read HP.
The Casual Vacancy - I found hArd going for the first half of the book and I only persevered with it because a) my husband bought it for me as a giftbecause JK Rowling wrote it.
I did enjoy the ending.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

Ghostheart has been on my "to read" shelf for a few years now so let me know what you think of it Happygreen. I usually enjoy Roger Ellorys books so I will start it after I've read the Library reservations which have all arrived at once. Reading and Icelandic thriller at the moment " Silence of the Sea" by Yrsa Sigurdardottir which I was struggling to put down yesterday."All I ask is the chance to prove that money can't make me happy"

. Thanks for the tip, Nordic thrillers are a staple on my reservations too (but in audio format for the kitchen, makes washing up and cooking more interesting) and I have too many of my own books to go through :rotfl:

Hi everyone!
I'm back: and I have read a book as well! Alex Ferguson's autobiography.
It was surprisingly good. I wouldn't desctibe myself as a particular football fan but it was highly interesting to read about how he kept his career going for so long at such a high level.

Nearly done with Ghostheart, what a great book! I must have more of this Ellory (one already reserved at the library on audio for the kitchen). He's one for keeps and give to friends to read!:TFirst they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0
