I finished Room last night. For such a harrowing subject, I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it.0

I've read the first three of the Roy Grace series and also the most recent one but seem to have missed out the ones in the middle for some reason. I suspect I have them lurking on my shelves somewhere waiting to be read so will look those out as they are always a good read.
Have you read any of his earlier books? I haven't but have heard that they are quite different to the Roy Grace novels. No More Buying Books - Books Read 15/Books Bought 3

I'll definitely look out for those then.
I finished The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel this morning. I enjoyed the book but the storyline was quite different to that of the film in some ways so the two don't really compare. I'm glad I read it though.
I'm on to Cuckoo by Julia Crouch now which I bought earlier this year and I'm also reading Someone Like Adele an unofficial biography of Adele which I got out of the library last week.No More Buying Books - Books Read 15/Books Bought 3

I love Peter James. I loved Prophesy, gripped me from page 1. Seem to be reading all crime at the moment, Nicci French, Peter James, Mo Hayder, but also love Jeffrey Archer

Ooh - I am so close to buying this as is in the amazon 2 for £7 promo and I have a few vouchers stashed - let me know the verdict!
Finished Angel at no 33, really liked it - was worried it was going to go overly spiritual/magically which is what is putting me off cecelia ahearn at the moment, but luckily wasn't like that at all!
Also finished Jane Elliot's Mummy's little girl which was my school run book - don't think I am cut out for two books on the go!
About to start Love and Marriage by Patricia Scanlan....

Have just started Heartstone by CJ Sansom. Has anyone read any of the Shardlake series? I am looking forward to living and breathing Tudor London again
I love those books - it's not so much the stories, it's the research about the period. I think heartstone was my favourite of the three. All the stuff about the Mary Rose really brought the period to life.
I'm on a roll with easy read books at the moment. I've won a couple of book competitions, so free books arriving through the post is brilliant. About to embark on The Lifeboat, by Charlotte Rogan. Not my usual sort of thing, so it'll be a change. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0
