  • Also, don't know if anyone here has been on goodreads.com, its a good way of keeping track of your books, and you can write a wee review on them. I've set myself a goal of reading 100 books in 2011 so it's been helpful for that!

Heres a link to my profile if anyone has one and wants to add me :)

EDIT: It also says i am current reading/have read the mortal instruments series, but they aren't on my list on here....because they are audiobooks, i'm not counting them!
  • I have finished two books since I last reported on here. Fairytale of New York by Miranda Dickinson - I loved this book, I enjoyed the setting of a florist shop in New York and I liked the characters. I've also read Stolen by Lesley Pearce about a girl who is found washed up on a beach who has amnesia - this was perfectly readable but nothing to rave about. I've moved on to reading The Secret Years by Susan (?) Lennox. I've had this book for years and took it on holiday once but it came back unread. I am only 20 or so pages in but so far so good.

I have to confess to some "ins". I took by Dad around the charity shops on Saturday as he needed some more books. It would have been rude for me not to browse as well ;). I got bargains mind you: 3 books for £1. I have also picked up a book from the Staff Room book shelf. On the plus side I have given away the two books that I finished.

I found Fairytale of New York a bit pants when I read it last month fmg, none of the characters seemed quite real to me so I just couldnt get in to it and the girl made me want to punch her and tell her to get a bloomin grip, lol.

Not finished any of my physical books recently as they're still packed as I moved this weekend, need to finish moving my things out of the old place and buy book cases before I dare start unpacking them all!
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
