Room for one more? I always read this thread but never get round to posting. I've just finished Stolen Child which was very good. Just about to start James Patterson Run for your life. That only leaves about 200 to go.

Im seriously addicted to buying books. Currently have about 20 in a pile to read. But I still cant stop.

I've managed to stop buying by using the library and RiSi, but my pile of unread doesnt seem to decrease as I keep seeing or hearing about books I fancy reading. My excuse is that at least I'm not spending any money;)
Just finished The Redeemer by Jo Nesbo, which was a fantastic read,:T:T:T:T:T just started The Killing Place by Tess Gerritsen. ( Both from the library)

  • Just started Debbie Macombers 6 Rainier Drive which DH kindly got me for crimbo - if it lasts me til thursday I will be shocked - really loving this series of sacherine sweet chick lit!!

Santa (or the outlaws) also got me

    Alan Sugar Biography
    Michael McIntyre Biography
Patricia Scanlan - Coming Home for Christmas

Also going to go for 25 books in 2011 - I'm either reading loads or not at all at the moment, and no nice beach holidays this year to crack through many! (although you never know - my numbers may come up!:rotfl:)

Have a new deal with DH - for every 10 books I take to the hospital charity shop he will give me £1 to treat myself there!! Their books are only 50p each, so sounds like a great deal to me!!:T

  • I'll join in!! I have plenty books I have read and need to sell - is Green Met a good way to go in your experience?

I have a fair few left too.

Yellowduck - if you want to buy The Lovers by John Connolly I have read it (bought it new, liked his books since Bad Men came out):-) (on quick reply so no rolly smiley) Got any recomendations for me? Similar stuff to Charlie Parker...?

I like greenmet, been on there a couple of years and only averaging one sale a month but I figure combining that with the very odd amazon sale (for the few which are worth selling on there) the stack might eventually start to shrink --esp now I've got my Kindle and haven't been tempted to buy more books for a couple of weeks!

In a similar vein, I have some books I want to sell on Amazon, but I'm a newbie. Would anyone here be able to offer a bit of advice if I ask a few questions, please? :)

I said "no more books until I've reduced the pile next to my bed". Then Christmas happened!

Theres a really good thread for newbies to amazon selling - I'll go find it and post the link for you. *Edit to add link* https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2171713

But ask away and I'll see if I can help -although I'm sure there are other amazon sellers around.
