Im a very bad mum.
I once left my 3 day old DS3 sitting in the hallway when we went out as a family as i had forgotten we had him! I only remembered when his elder sister asked me where he was! Since that day she has always been very protective of him...wonder why?
I use bribery to get my kids to revise for their exams. Well it works!
Somedays I love my dogs more than my kids. Well somedays all I get from my kids is unconditional hassle whereas my dogs give me unconditional love.
When asked by school recently if i could talk about my sons behaviour at school I dared to ask the teacher if he thought that my son might be bored by his lessons.
I spend too much on them on birthdays and christmas.
Oh the list is endless!I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

I can post what I like in this thread thankyou. I merely stated my opinion about one comment made in this thread that was horrible. The rest of the thread is brilliant but there is a big difference between :
I am a bad mummy because I get slap my child
and
I am a bad mummy because I ENJOY slapping my child.
What next : I am a bad mummy because I abuse my child, I am a bad mummy because I know my partner is abusing my child and I do nothing, etc etc - and it's all ok because it's in the bad mummy thread!!!
There is a line and it was crossed with that comment.0 -
I think the slapping post was tongue in cheek - i doubt any mother who really mans that would post it on her.
You know that sometimes when you read something you can take it out of context?
I would say that happened here0 -
You are possibly correct but I do feel that singular post should be deleted as even if meant in a tongue in cheek way it still suggests that violence and abuse towards children is funny. Violence and the suggestion of violence towards children is never acceptable.0

Oh I was a bad mummy today because I let DS have leftovers from his bday prty yesterday for breakfast.
Cocktail sausages and onion rings all round
Then i sent him into school with a box of smarties cakes which the kids are all going to have just before home time
Nothing like sending a class of 4 year home dosed up to the eyeballs on E numbers :cool:Future Mrs Gerard Butler
