The Bad Mummies Thread

Congratulations, I applaud all you mothers for ignoring the pathetic PC nonsense and letting your kids be kids and ensuring they have a good immune system by not playing in a sterile bubble, allowing them to learn by playing and taking the knocks of life without being wrapped in a protective suit, and oh you naughty mummys for teaching your children right from wrong by that little and very often gently used smack to show them being bad has consiquences, using age old methods like a drop of whiskey on the dummy when teething etc etc. My faith in humanity is restored, there are real civilised intelligent people out there. BTW done everything mentioned on here to two lads now aged 24 and 26, well balanced, hard working, respectful, and very thoughtful to thier two very proud parents.Approach her; adore her. Behold her; worship her. Caress her; indulge her. Kiss her; pleasure her. Kneel to her; lavish her. Assert to her; let her guide you. Obey her as you know how; Surrender is so wonderful! I return to work this week and I have sorted out childcare for our eldest in the event of DH not being able to work from home and it's only cost me £3. I've had a spare key cut.0

This thread is brilliant and really funny and yes i'm a bad mummy for lots of reasons. BUT the bit about slapping your kids because it makes such a pretty sound is not nice at all and overstepping the line if you ask me. Sorry everyone can shout at me now....
Oh get a grip.. honestly.. if it was possible to roll eyes I would.
My children are so very beaten I cannot remember the last time they got a slap.. and it will have been threatened plenty of times before actually doing it.. and it will have stopped them doing whatever it was they were doing.
Actually.. I just remembered.. My 11 year old got a slap about 2 weeks ago after kicking his 9 year old sister in the stomach after winding her up following her round the house copying and mocking her despite being told repeatedly to stop.. after his behaviour got them a console ban.
And I wouldn't think twice about slapping an adult I had repeatedly told to stop doing something.. like when I have given my XH a punch in the face after being repeatedly told not to scream in my face and spitting on me while doing so.. and no that isn't why he is the ex..
and it is stupid to be scared of the shower.. and the only way they will get used to it is by experience.. and it amuses me that they scream like it is pure acid being tipped over them.. so I tell them to get a grip and stop being so pathetic. A shower is hardly torture, it is personal hygeine.. they scream in the bath when having their hair washed too and I ignore them and carry on.. should I leave them to stink?
I cannot believe anyone would be naive enough to take that to this extreme.. Pmsl...LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Ah so it's not just mine that does this
I usually start off gently, not quite enough water for it to go in his eyes
Then the screaming starts, I can feel the headache coming on
Stress levels rise
Out comes the measuring jug of water tipped over his head
Atleast twice of course
You have to make sure you've gotten out all that shampoo
Plus with all that water going over his face he can't always catch his breath to scream
Very satisfying so it isFuture Mrs Gerard Butler

Have been searching for somewhere to vent my, Aaaaaaaaaargh, kids whod have 'em???? Please just clear up after yourselves is it asking tooooo much I think not. But still they eventually go to bed and free the computer for me and leave a trail of distruction. Have tried ignoring it , have left it for days, have cleared it into a pile on bottom stair and no one notices they all step over and pretend it doesn't exsisit!!!!
Sorry if I sound like the old nag of a mother but enough is enough.

Ooh it's at least 4-5 jugs for my DD with her long hair.:D
A particularly bad hair wash session resulted in my OH cutting a chunk out of the back of her hair. I was the one who had to cut it evenly while it was sticking to the snot where she was crying. I wouldn't mind, but when she went to school the next day and everyone said how nice her new hairstyle was she said her daddy did it.:pAccept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
