hi ladies how is everyone?? i havent been on here for a long time, but theres still a few names i recognise... im a bad mum still...
i bf both my girls coz i was 2 lazy to have to warm the bottles it would always go to hot then i would have to cool it down!
i have had dogs around my kids since they dd1 was crawling, they have both eaten the dogbiscuits, i once caught dd2 trying to drink out of there water bowl, and i regularly caught them teething on the dog toys.
i never ran to them when they was crying (it never hurt them)
they both had dummies
ive also had the constant screaming cleaning there hair, thankfully they seem to have grown out of it, it used to drive me up the wall i would dread having to do it!!
im sure theres loads of reasons why i am a bad mummy. this is just a select few ive thought of.ne day i WILL be debt free
:rotfl:i hope!! :rotfl:0 -
oh please there is a difference between common sense and wrapping them in bubble wrap
And I think you are just looking for attention.
Smothering your child with cotton wool doesn't teach them very much about life.
But please, let us all bow down to you for you are far more superior than we could ever be...

I'm a bad sister.. I don't have any kids but I do have two much younger sisters. When my mum was trying to get my youngest (4 year old) sister off dummys I came up with the bright idea of painting it with that nail varnish that tastes bad so that you stop biting your nails. It worked.0

Good morning, bad mums of MSE!
beckiem has reminded me of when my DS was a toddler and I found him eating the dog biscuits _pale_. For some reason it made me cry and I remember feeling very upset with myself for not watching him enough (I think I had gone to the loo - bad mum!) I wish I could have found the funny side to it at the time.
I also have been thinking a lot about some of the mistakes I have made  ...the thing is if I wrote down all the really wonderful things I do for my kids everyday, and the things that make me a good mum - it would be a long and probably a boring list, because we instinctively are caring and protective. But I have such a long memory for those mistakes I made which really weren't so many, and usually because I was functioning on very little sleep.

And I wouldn't think twice about slapping an adult I had repeatedly told to stop doing something.. like when I have given my XH a punch in the face after being repeatedly told not to scream in my face and spitting on me while doing so.. and no that isn't why he is the ex..
..
To those who mentioned dog biscuits, what's wrong with eating dog biscuits I used to eat bonios as a kid and for some reason my two did the same, they are 24 &26 now and still like to eat them and so do I. On a serious not they are less fattening than normal biscuits and made to the same standards and have perfectly good ingredient.
Now if you will excuse me I need to chase next doors cat off.Approach her; adore her. Behold her; worship her. Caress her; indulge her. Kiss her; pleasure her. Kneel to her; lavish her. I hate you lot, I am now very tempted to go and buy some bonios to go with my morning coffee, we have just had this discussion in the office and 5 out of 6 here used to eat and like them.Approach her; adore her. Behold her; worship her. Caress her; indulge her. Kiss her; pleasure her. Kneel to her; lavish her. Assert to her; let her guide you. Obey her as you know how; Surrender is so wonderful! Actually I made myself quite a bit of money one day because I took bets on the school bus that I would eat a Bonio and everyone else bet I wouldn't... Id been eating them at home for ages before that :rotfl:Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession
