so we all got ready , put ds in his car seat etc etc ,
then when we got to where SIL was it turned out she started the car. she then asked where ds was, hubby replied in the back of the car,
hubby got back in the car looked in the back, looked at me with this face> and said where is DS?????
you can imagine the panic that went through us, i had visions of ds sat on the side of the road in his car seat. we screamed up the hill in the car.
it wasnt until we got to the top of the hill that i started swearing at dh as i had just remembered we dropped ds of at nannies on the way.
my god tell me about baby brain ....
At least you had an excuse! What was your husband's? :rotfl:0 -
- I let her think she was lost in Bluewater shopping centre (I hid behind a pillar and could clearly see her all the time, it was quiet during the week) until she cried, so she knew what it felt like to be lost. She never ran off after that!! Think she was about 3 when I did that.
Mum once walked off and left me having a tantrum in a supermarket aisle...
I didn't know she'd only gone round the corner of the aisle and could see me over the stuff on the shelves... I don't recall having another tantrum in public... or ever misbehaving again in public... I kid you not!DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
My DFW Diary - blah- mildly funny stuff about my journey0 -
Just remembered another one, I never bought a sterilisation unit thing for bottles, so I never sterilised any bottles for either baby (I did have a dishwasher though).
MrsTine, the walking off in a supermarket whilst my children had a tantrum worked for me too, they soon stopped it.0 -
OMG that is hillarious!!!! I'd do stupid things like that... forget I'd dropped her off somewhere first and then panic!
