lol, that's exactly the same thing! I bought mine from an authorised ford dealer, who use genuine Ford parts. I dont see what difference it makes?

I wasnt aiming the Kia thing at you, just a poster on here who thinks Kia have better build quality than Ford, and that Kia are more value for money :rotfl:

He also dont go by road tests, or reviews or anything like that to judge how good a car is, so I was basically saying in his eyes, what you read means nothing on these surveys table things.

Why the one year from Ford then? and not the full 3 years.

trust me they are 2 very different things.
if your car breaksdown during the ford warranty the dealer will order brand new parts from ford at ford expense,ie no expense spared.
if your car then breaksdown during your 2 year extended warranty supplied by the dealer the dealer will be footing the bill so the amount of new parts will be kept to a minimum if any.
imagine your wipers break,it gets tested and they find a fault with the motor,under ford manufacturer warranty the dealer will simply order a full new wiper motor assembly.
if this happened under the dealer warranty they would have a go at stripping it making a bodge of a repair and give it back to you in the hope it last another year or so.

Not sure hethmar, it couldn't be as bad as the Ford Warranty.;)

Apparently you are better off importing a new Ford, they have to give a full 3 year warranty under EU Regulations by doing that.

check yours and see, if it is then i imagine vw dealers will scrimp and scrape just like any other when it comes to thier cost.
