Kia have 6 plants, mainly in Korea with the exception of 2. One is in the USA and another in Slovakia.

Hyundai are the same motor group. They have plants in India, Japan and China as well as Slovakia.

Either way, its a Korean company = Cheap products.

Glad you found Google at last..:rotfl:

For your information, the Kia C'eed and the Hyundai i30 are made in Slovakia, I had a Kia C'eed on a 3 day free test drive a while back, the build quality was highly impressive.

    " Cheap products " that come with a 5 year ( Hyundai ) and 7 year warranty ( Kia ) yeah right.

Here is a challenge for you, park your overpriced Fiesta next to a Kia C'eed, then close the doors on your Fiesta, now go the Kia C'eed, and do the same.

    Chalk and cheese quality wise.

  • Maybe a dumb question, but would you not have an MOT over those 7 years like you wouldn't have one during the normal 3 year warranty?

MOT is applicable to all cars, 7 year warranty or not.

I still dont know where your going with regards to the warranty. Yes its a good warranty, but they are the only 2 manufacturers that offer an extended warranty period.

OP, dont buy any other make of vehicle other than a Kia or a Hyundai, because every other manufacturer must be BAD build quality because they only offer a 3 year warranty.

I am not being funny, but there is no way I would pay £10,995 for a basic Kia Cee'd.

    .

You need to Google once again, they are not the only 2 manufacturers to offer such a length of warranty.;)

Just out of interest, what do you drive? What car would you recommend?

I know what marque he drives, it is the same as me, and it is not a Dagenham dustbin.:rotfl:

But I thought you didn't need an MOT on a new car until after the 3 years warranty was up?
