For your information, the Kia C'eed and the Hyundai i30 are made in Slovakia, I had a Kia C'eed on a 3 day free test drive a while back, the build quality was highly impressive.

" Cheap products " that come with a 5 year ( Hyundai ) and 7 year warranty ( Kia ) yeah right.

Here is a challenge for you, park your overpriced Fiesta next to a Kia C'eed, then close the doors on your Fiesta, now go the Kia C'eed, and do the same.

Chalk and cheese quality wise.

Maybe a dumb question, but would you not have an MOT over those 7 years like you wouldn't have one during the normal 3 year warranty?

MOT is applicable to all cars, 7 year warranty or not.

I still dont know where your going with regards to the warranty. Yes its a good warranty, but they are the only 2 manufacturers that offer an extended warranty period.

OP, dont buy any other make of vehicle other than a Kia or a Hyundai, because every other manufacturer must be BAD build quality because they only offer a 3 year warranty.

I am not being funny, but there is no way I would pay £10,995 for a basic Kia Cee'd.

You need to Google once again, they are not the only 2 manufacturers to offer such a length of warranty.;)

Last ones recalled had build dates of 2007, previous to that the majority have build dates of 1995 / 96!

But I thought you didn't need an MOT on a new car until after the 3 years warranty was up?
