When we were looking for a new car, we did go to see several different makes but we never even test drove the Fords because of the plasticky interiors, they just looked so tacky after the German cars we had been in. Id got brochures and naively thought the trim was stainless steel or something - pmsl - not just shiny silver plastic. OH didnt even get inside a car at the Ford showroom.(shallow I know, but if you dont get pleasure sitting in the car every day, its not worth buying).

    matt1987,

I'm glad that you're happy with your purchase, but it's a cheap, plastic & nasty interior, coupled with a "oh look another Fiesta *sigh*" exterior.

edit; !!!!!! is it with the people on your street? Do they have no imagination & originality? I see a VW Beetle and a Mini - on the same drive! Both very naff motors!

lol it not a beetle, its an Audi TT.

Thats a surprise really, as I get a few comments like " No way is this a Fiesta! ", as well as many compliments of what a nice car it is!

I cant see how a Mini is a naff motor, your talking silly. My partner has a Mini, and there is nothing wrong with it at all. Infact its a superb car!

If, when you leave the supermarket, you manage to find which one of the 17 Minis in the car park is yours, have a little sit inside it. Open your eyes and take a look.

The cheaper Minis are even worse.

Got to admit, I dont like the interior of that one very much. My partners looks different. Maybe its because my partners is only a month old? Have they changed the interior since?

My partners is Oxygen Blue, you hardly ever see them around in that colour, so she will never have that problem.
