The charges are £1100 and I could really do anything near that figure.
Thank you for your help guys.
Why are you asking for what charges have been applied if you already know what they are?
On what basis are you hoping to ask for a refund of charges? :huh:0 -

Credit card PPI reclaim
hoping that some one on here may offer me some help in persusing my ppi reclaim,
got in touch with rbs and answered questions over the phone,
in brief they replied by letter stating at the time of taking out application i opted into ppi,
i cant remember at the time i filled out app form but do know that i called into local branch to confirm form correctly filled out,
would i be right in assuming thats my claim dead in the water, my card was taken out march 20020 -

I am claiming on financial hardship.
I've found it very difficult to speak to someone at Santander. Does anyone know the number of the relevant department that deals with bank chargers or could help at least. Thanks0 -

You can't for the reason the bank gave when you called them previously.;)0 -
I filled out a back charge form recently requesting £3000 from Santander. They rung me today pretty much saying bank charges are a thing of the past and there was some court case in 2009 where everything changed. He told me bank charges were there for a reason and there was nothing he could do... do i have a leg to stand on, or is he right enough? What can i do? I dont know enough info about the whole thing to try and fight my corner?0

NatWest Bank
Amount Reclaimed:Approx £4000
Amount they paid: zero.
Unfortunately its too long a story to relate here, but briefly, I went into Debt Management (I was told it was an IVA, but that's another story!) NatWest were informed at the same time as my other creditors. All except NatWest froze interest charges.
I started out owing about £5000, but ended up owing more than £9000 before they eventually froze the charges.
I've been through the whole route of writing to NatWest and asked them to reduce the debt to £5500, and I even proved hardship, but they only offered £600 as a no admission part-payment, which I stupidly refused, wanting total payment and expecting the High Court to find in the customers' favour. No luck.
So I seem to be stuck with a debt of £9000. And apparently nowhere to turn. I wouldn't even mind if it were the original sum, but £9000 seems insurmountable. I haven't contacted them since the high Court ruling so the debt just sits there.
Very depressing.0
