I'm so sorry for your loss.

I'm also sorry you feel guilty about wanting to get pregnant again. I know it doesn't help but there is nothing wrong with your feelings and they are seperate to your grief and love for the baby you have lost.

No-one should have to go through what you are going through. Be kind to yourself.
May all your dots fall silently to the ground.
  • I'm so sorry for your loss Jules. I don't think you are mad to want to try again at all but only you and your DH know if you are emotionally ready for it. Good luck, my thoughts are with you xx

Hi, can anyone tell me on average how long you bleed for after a miscarriage, I had my beautiful boy last fri at 18 weeks. The hospital said about a week but I remember after my last miscarriage it was months!! But did have a D& C rather than this time when I went through a labour.

  • Oh Ali I'm so sorry hon :( Really hope it doesn't turn out to be a worst case scenario. I ahve read loads of forums though where women have been convinced they are mc'ing again, and actually it's something completely unrelated. Hugs.

jules I'm so sorry for your loss. My mc was at around 9 weeks and I think I bled for about 10 days in all. I didn't have to have a d&c as it all passed naturally.

    Such a sad time :(

Just read your post Ali (((hugs))).
  • I am thinking of you portsmouthali and hoping for a positive outcome x

Jules, I started bleeding lightly on the Friday and then miscarried everything the following Wednesday/Thursday and then continued bleeding until the following Wednesday, so for about a week afterwards, although I didnt have a d&c. Everyone is different so may take longer. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time x

I have had 6 miscarriages since 2001 and I think about them alot. The first 2 were missed miscarriages at 11 weeks, the other 4 were at 6 weeks. I want to wish you all my support x
I used to suffer from lack of motivation.... now I just can't be arsed.
