I think I have coped quite well recently and we have decided we are not going to try for another however my due date will be Oct 12th and not sure how I will cope on that dayAny question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

I was so excited but just 3.5 months after my last miscarriage here we go again
Hugs, honey. Hoping it isn't that. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Thinking of you Shelley & Caroline, as you may have read a few pages back I didn't cope too well with what would have been my due date
I don't think anyone does. It's a milestone that none of us want to mark and I found it harder that there was no-one in the real world that I could speak to about it. Feel free to vent on here (I did!)
Hugs to bbm and anyone else that needs one xxx0 -
Thank you xx0

Hi
Have found out this week that a close friend of mine has miscarried.
I haven't seen her yet as I thought it would be best to give her some space and time with OH to come to terms with things.
I was thinking of sending flowers to say that I am thinking of her-what do people think? Would this be a good idea or maybe when I see her just take along some magazines and choccies for her?
I havent spoken to her yet, have just text and said I'd leave it a few days and give her a call when she's feeling more up to talking but then I dont want her to think I'm avoiding her for any reason
To be honest this is the first time I've had to go through this with a friend and am at a bit of a loss as to what to do for the best.
Any advice, words of wisdom would be gratefully received

What a lovely thing to do, I would have loved flowers or a card or anything that gave the 'I'm thinking of you' message. It can feel very lonely having a miscarriage so by sending your friend something will help.0

My office sent me flowers after my mc in January, and 2 of my friends also sent me flowers.
Personally the fact they were thinking of me was of great comfort, but I had to stop my best friend from sending me anymore as my kitchen was beginning to resemble a funeral parlour.
Whatever you do for a friend though is lovely. Let's them know that you care.
Hugs to all that need them xMetranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
Valleylass – some friends of mine and also my work sent me flowers after we found out about our mmc last year and it meant such a lot to know that people were thinking of us. Another friend sent some of my favourite Sanctuary items from Boots. It was nice to know that people were thinking about us so I think it is a lovely idea to send something to your friend.
This will be a very difficult time for your friend but you can help by letting her know that you are there if she needs to talk – my friends were a huge support and I don’t think I could’ve got through it without them and my OH.
For those with due dates coming up I was extremely worried in the lead up to ours (which was in June) but the actual day wasn’t so bad, it is good if you can organise something to take your mind off things on the day. I personally found the lead up to be the worst part – once it had passed I found it easier to start fully moving on.
Hugest hugs to anyone who is having a difficult time at the moment – miscarriage is one of the hardest things to go through as a woman but I promise it does get easier as the time goes on.One day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170
